I’m not sure how to fix them, but I just played a game where I got fourth and 1-3 all Murloc hyper rolls. 2 with divine+poison combo on 4+ minions. It Seems pretty silly that three people can get that kinda of stuff.
I think the toxic part is literally the toxin (poisonous). The fact is that players can swap to Murlocs in a few turns in the late game is a problem. Because all you need poisonous to at least trade even with a lot of people. I literally always buy a bran in murloc games cause if I luck into 1 megasaur I can pretty reliably get a poisonous line up. Then it’s just fishing for any triples and more megasaurs and luck out on other murloc players.
i think maybe poisonous should be replaced, and instead add something that doubles/triples power at the start of battle (berserk) (fury) (idk). so that it isn’t infinite damage but it’s a major power boost assuming you put in the at least some time into the build. it could prevent 2 turn switch later in the game. And maybe some people could build into a couple high hp minions (40-60) to survive an attack.
Yep remove toxfin and Adapt mechanic from the battlegrounds completely. There's no reason for ability that almost completely invalidates attack and health values to exist especially when it can be combined with divine shields. Murlocs already have the ability to reach galactic stats so there's no need for them to have those.
Leave poisonous exclusively to Maexxna (and cobra from secret I guess) since beasts are generally much harder to buff so she usually does 1:1 trade only. Make murlocs a crude AoE buffing tribe that has no other abilities.

5 out of 8 players ended up on murloc (not me) and all 5 were still around when i was defeated by...poisonous murlocs that were gigantic. The craziest part is that ALL of 5 players had huge poisonous murlocs.
1) How is that possible? 2) Seriously. Please kill off murlocs already. 3) Poison is so so so dumb. Nerf beasts but sure, murlocs are cool.
When 5 Players go for murlocs you can imagine, that it will be difficult to get Brann and Megasaur. So you want to get Toxfin and sell it again, to get poisonous at least. After selling Toxfin it's back in the pool, so you and the other murloc players can buy it again to give all other murlocs poison,

100% Maexxna was supposed to be a giant counter. Also a counter to the lv6 windfury sniper.
Honestly, together with mechs murlocs is literally the only tribe that only has 1 custom card for BG.
It really wouldn't hurt the tribe to get a little more cards ACTUALLY MADE for BG like every other single tribe. Maybe that's why murlocs are broken and mechs are kinda bad right now, they have almost no cards made for the gamemode. But blizzard said that they're working on it tho
Remove megasaur from the pool and Murlocs are strong but not broken. Bagurgle should also be removed or at least have the battlecry removed. The problem right now is that it’s too easy to pick murlocs on turn one and just stick with it. You have viable Murloc cards at every tier with no really bad tiers. It used to be that Murlocs got outscaled in the mid game, but not anymore with Felfin and Bagurgle.
No, the real problem right now is that you can easily switch to murlocs from any other build to win the lobby. All you have to do is find Primalfin and Brann. It's too easy to change your entire build and win the game.

They can't be indestructible like Dragons or Mechs or stacked Demons, but they're somewhat squishy as a tribe, with the ability to punch up, and take down thick minions.

Have you played bg? wtf you mean squishy. Murlocs easily outstat over tribes. Similar to standard play with braindead synergy including 3 cards cards that buff entire board. If beasts had full board buff like that w/o activating a deathrattle itd be crazy.

But with or without Brann? If you didn't have Megasaur and Brann (only poison from Toxfin), then your enemies were probably pretty weak.

I read that they are finally going to nerf murlocs and buff beasts. Dunno what's taken them so long to tackle this issue. But I guess we'll see.

Just add Immune to Poison mechanic.
Gentle Megasaur got removed and they changed Primalfin Lookout so that he can only discover minions from your tavern tier or below. Seems fair enough.
