This is an ambitious project, but i want to make a thread containing a strategy guide (maybe even multiple) for the early game of every single hero. Suggestions are welcome. This guide may be innacurate,
AF Kay Ramp: T1-2: If you see any alleycats or murloc tidehunters, freeze the tavern. T3: Tier up. If you chose Khadgar and there is an alleycat or murloc tidehunter in the tavern, you can sell your other tier 3 unit to buy the cat or murloc and sell them later for a high-tier unit. T4-7: Tier up. If you lose too much health, you can start buying early. T8 Onwards: Buy as many high tier units as you can.
Raafam Basic: T1: Buy a minion. T2: Buy and HP. T3: Buy, roll and HP or Tier, HP, roll. T4: If you Tiered last turn, tier again. Else, double buy and optionally sell to HP or roll. T5: Double buy and HP. If you have 1-2 excess minions, optionally sell them to roll. If you have 3, optionally sell them to buy.
Keep on! But I might suggest being a bit more into detail. For example, AFK should freeze any token generator that shows up till turn 3. So you can buy and level on one turn
A guide written in this way is pointless. There are not strategies to do all time with heros. It depends by what you are funding, if need to re-roll or not, it depends by what people are buying, it depends by if you are loosing or winning and so on.
You can have some basic strategy for each hero but it is actually a lot more complicated and depending on what tribes are present for each game.
This is a good starting point though!
If you watch High MMR streamers you can see all the ways they adjust to the tavern they are playing. Krip, Dog, Collins are pretty good at explaining their decisions in game.

Wow... I actually didn't know AF Kay could freeze when skipping turns.
