I dont see much improvement of the Situation with Scalelord, all that matters rly is DivineShield and Poison. And in some cases its even better, because its a guaranteed Divine Shield. or if you dont have Brann this is way better.
This would be a buff not a nerf. With Scalelord it would be guaranteed you get divine shield. At least now they can whiff the adapt.
And still imo the problem is not Megasaur. You can counter divine shield with Unstable ghoul. The problem is Brann and it has always been Brann. Getting an early brann guarantees the 1st place. Even if you deal with the divine shields you will never be able to beat their giant stats.
Moving Brann to tavern 6 will solve the Murloc problem. They will still be the strongest tribe in the late game but at least it will be harder to get Brann. Plus it will be a buff for Lightfang and Managerie. People will consider picking Lightfang on 5. Cause right now Lightfang is almost never a better pick than Brann. Brann being at tavern 5 is the root of the murloc problem.
I agree with the sentiment that moving Brann to T6 would be a good start but I would like to see Primalfin Lookout moved to T4 and Toxfin moved to T5 at the same time. Moving Primalfin down and Toxfin up would provide enough boost to keep murlocs competitive in the midgame and since Bagurgle and Toxfin are on T5 you won't be able to abuse the discover feature of the Primalfin too early plus without having an early Brann would keep it balanced.
I like the idea of having to decide on if I want to sell a buffed golden murloc or trying to keep it around until I can hit T6. It also makes deciding on hunting for Brann or a Megasaur a more difficult choice. I watch alot of streamers consistently skip the Toxfin simply because they can wait for a Brann then triple into megasaur spike.
I am a big fan of playing murlocs anytime they are available so I would prefer to see Brann stay at 5 and see Primalfin moved to 4 just because it would be even more broken and fun for me to play but that is a dream and nothing more.
Maybe remove toxifin and allow murlocs to get poison only through megasaur, only fair nerf I can think of.
I say the reverse. Gentle Megasaur is the biggest problem on par with Cobalt when it was big, Making a new card that does an inferior but similar effect to replace it would be the best option. (Maybe something like "After Murloc attacks, gain random effect")

Murlocs are fine apart from Poisonous. Poisonous needs the rework, not Murlocs in general.
let's just say they're a necessary evil, they just belong to warcraft overall
i don't mind them that much, although it feels really cheap to just crap out tribal stuff and rush face all day without much of any effort

Just remove Megasaur both in no-beasts and in no-murlocs lobbies
