For the first time the tribe rotation made me affect my gameplan.
I was presented with Wrath Weaver as Pyramad and saw that divine-poisonous-murlocs wouldn't be a thing this game so I tried demons, which I would not have otherwise picked.

I've had very little success with demons; weaver seems really sketchy in such a fast metagame, though, to me. Cannon causes high damage early turns and pirates in mid can also be crushing if people roll well.

Yeah I only placed 4th, but still, I found that an interesting thought. I'm not sure rotation ever has an impact on strategy other than the exclusion of murlocs tho.
Btw, I think 4th should always net positive rating. It just feels bad to get hit with -15 when you reach top 4. I got 4th two times in a row and ended up getting +0 with both games combined. Dumb design.
Ok hand's down, I Macaw needs a (slight) nerf. This shit was the most disgusting easy to get end-game build I've ever seen.
The fact that it's a t2 unit and stays relevant throughout the entire game since he is a beast itself is just too strong. I transitioned from a Spawn into beasts. Hell, you can probably make it even stronger with just having Macaws over and over again and 1 Goldrin.
The fact that it triggers "after attacking" and "before dying" is just too good. I went from -10HP on my first Macaw to +20 and it survived. I think it should trigger his effect but still still die in this case to balance it.
Goldrin didn't even die after it went golden, since it had ridiculous stats. I got it up to 82/82 before crushing my opponent. Shit is disgusting. The last 4 rounds I didn't even change ANYTHING and kept crushing. Only thing would be another triple or a Ghoul just in case I face Murlocs... which I actually did, but his stats were pathtic compared to mine and even his entire divine shield comp was easily destroyed. Tho, he had only 1 had poisonous.
Seriously tho, even without getting goldens, it's a very, very consistent build you can put together on the fly way to easily and on t5 no less. I'd strongly advise for any divine shield taunt tho, but even the 1/1 is enough for that. Just need to make sure the first Macaw goes off.
I think a simple nerf to Macaw would be to change its text to "after this minion attacks, if it survives damage, trigger a friendly deathrattle", makes it still viable in certain situations and not just an automatic inclusion

I agree Macaw needs a nerf but that proposed change was make it completely unplayable lol, surely there's a better option
I think a fair nerf for Macaw would be to move it to tier 3. It is still super valuable (since it is anyway a key component of many endgame builds). but players would have access to it 2-3 turns later so it wouldn't feature so much and so early

that would be awful lol
A simple nerf would be put it in tier 3 so you can't benefit from Nzoth / Kaboom synergies early in the game..
Macaw needs to be gixed asap. You should not be able to find 4 cards, put some alleycat on table and win the game. Macaw needs to be t4 card for sure, just to make it harder to find. In 10k lobbies multiple people might have golden Macaw now.
Just imagine, how much you need to do to have a viable managerie or murloc build. And compare it to finding macaw+wolf+baron= win
Ok after couple days now and not playing too much (like 25 games or so) imO this Patch is crap.
Playing around 8500MMR and believe it or not.... i see Murlocs winning every 2nd game. PPL complaining the game got faster, but somehow I experience that PPL tend to get away with Murlocs way more than before. ( when i climbed over 8000, Murlocs where bascially vanished, coz it was like the "All-in- risk it for the biscuit build" most ppl dont dared, or died trying) - but now I see them again..... And ofc the "easy" to build Beast build kinda feels quite retarded.
Ok i know meta has still to settle a bit, but for now this Patch sucks for me.

I'm pretty sure that my friend who I was spectating lost to you in the finals because I remember this exact board composition. It wasn't even remotely close.
As hsreplay shows you get the highroll deathrattle build or you can't win in most games. GG Blizzard. And Pirates. How to fuck up the one last good mode you created in a very short time.
"After this attacks" mechanic is stupid, it just made game even more random (in a bad way) since fight outcome is heavily affected by a coinflip of whoever goes first.
Before it was mostly irrelevant who goes first in the early to mid game (maybe aside from bombs), it was only an issue later when cleaves/zapp came into play. Now entire games are turned because stupid parrot attacks first.
Just lost a game because enemy attacked first and his arcane cannon sniped my arcane cannon and I couldn't do anything since otherwise we were very close stat wise.
Jaraxxus change is kind of whatever. The issue is that pure demons are not very strong apart from Watcher that doesn't really need it. Key cards that synergize with Demons are not demons themselves. Still a huge buff. The best strategy will probably to get whatever demons and just HP every turn, similar to Tirion before. Might not give you top 2 but maybe it's enough for consistent top 4.
The swap of Saurolisk and Hyena is really good. Will make Saurolisk that much slower.
Macaw on 3 seems fair, but might not be enough. It'll at least make golden Macaw more rare at the very least.
Millificient Manastorm's +1/+1 change is huge. Always wondered why it was so weird. This makes her way more consistent. Will not make her a top tier pick by any means tho. Mechs are probably the weakest tribe atm.
Reno from 3 to 2 just makes sense. He'll still struggle to survive to find a good piece on t5.

Milificent is an un-nerf, right? Didn't she used to be +1/+1 and got nerfed because that was when mechs were dominant...
Hyena might be a bit powerful for TT1, but it's such a small amount of time it won't matter. Good changes!
I had 3 triple chances (2x lvl 3, 1x lvl 4) on t4 and I rerolled 12 times(!) until I saw a triple chance popping up on. That's 84(!) minions offered. Of course I died that turns. Jesus, the hero really shows you how luck can sometimes fuck you really over.
Having so many minions on a re-roll felt really strong tho, in particular on lower tiers since you have less of a spread.
I think if I get her again, I'll try to get a few triples on t3 before moving on.
The reroll hero is total garbage. Saurolisk is the only strategy you can do with this hero and this requires you get early saurolisks by total random chance. If you don't get fed the build early on, you're out. Your hero power does nothing whatsoever for any build other than tavern 1 saurolisk build, which they're going to nerf anyway, making this hero completely unplayable.

Are you talking about Hooktusk? She's amazing with Murlocs, imo. Her early game advantage is one of the best in the game with a T1 token minion. Her T3 tavern turns generate easy triples converting Seers and Felfins into Warleaders and Old Murk-Eyes. And at T5 you get extra chances at Brann, Bagurgle, and Primalfin every time you triple into a T6. She'll still be T1, imo.

No murlocs = go big or go lose. PArrots are goldies best friend. I like it

It's because more people go for murlocs.
Murlocs is the only build that beats beasts. So half of people go beasts, half go murlocs.
So murlocs will win many lobbies. Seeing this around 9000
