I searched google and a bunch of different forums looking for an answer, but ultimately couldn’t find anything relating to this issue. On my last run, I had 4 different buffed demons with taunt (ex: 2 Battlemaster demons that I gave taunt, 1 Siegebreaker & 1 Homunculus) along with 2 Soul Jugglers and a Brann Bronzebeard on the far right side of the board. On the last round, down to just me and my final opponent, his minions ignored by 4 big buffed TAUNT demons on the left of the board and took out Brann and the 2 Soul Jugglers first. I thought the whole point of Taunt, was so your opponents minions have to hit them until they are destroyed. Is there a mechanic I’m not understanding or is this a possible bug in battlegrounds? Thanks for any info regarding this!
These posts always tell such a descriptive story and somehow leave out the most important part of the alleged "bug". In this instance, the minion that was doing the attacking. Zapp Slywick by any chance?
Well, that is probably the answer to the mechanics I wasn’t understanding. I believe it may have been the minion Zapp Slywick that attacked. I didn’t realize he could still bypass a taunt minion to attack the lowest attack minions. Now I know! This is why I labeled the forum “Possible” bug and referenced that it could be attributed to my misunderstanding of a minions mechanics, so thank you all for the help!

There is some legendary minion with windfury that attacks your lowest attack minions first (skipping taunts).
There is a tier 6 minion with wind fury that always attacks your lowest attack minions. It bypasses taunt.
Zap snack
Zap nap
But most important, zap attack not giving a crap how many walls you put between you and your baron.
Hide yo kids, hide yo baron

Mustve been Kayn Sunfury. He's not even released and already screwing the game up!
