This update includes several adjustments and gets more Heroes brawling in Bob’s Tavern than ever before! Further Battlegrounds balance changes are coming very soon, in addition to the exciting new content we have in the pipeline… we’ll have more to share in the near future!
Heroes
Shudderwock
Burbling: Cost reduced from (2) to (1) .
Queen Wagtoggle
Wax Warband : Give a random friendly Mech, Demon, Murloc and Beast +2 Attack . (instead of +1 Health)
Infinite Toki
Temporal Tavern : Cost reduced from (2) to (1) . Now reads, “Refresh Bob’s Tavern. Include a Minion from a higher Tavern Tier.”
Patches the Pirate
Has returned to the Battlegrounds Hero Pool.
Fire the Cannons! : At the start of next combat, deal 4 damage to two random enemy minions. (increased from 3 damage)
Pyramad
Has returned to the Battlegrounds Hero Pool.
Brick by Brick : Give a random friendly minion +3 Health . (increased from +2 Health)
Minions
Golden Soul Juggler
After a friendly Demon dies, deal 3 damage to a random enemy minion twice . (instead of 6 damage once)
Bug Fixes and Game Improvements
Battlegrounds : Selfless Hero’s Deathrattle will now only affect minions that do not already have Divine Shield.
Shudderwock: while not S tier, it is an EZ tier 1.
Queen Wagtoggle: While to +2 attack doesn't truly aid that much with Murlocs and Demons, If their is a viable Mech and Beast Cleave strategy, this could be effective.
Infinite Toki: OK, Toki goes to Tier 1 - Side Note: I saw some confusion from some other sites comments. This in not a pre-nerf Toki. Original Toki would get a regular refresh pool and ADD a minion to it.This new change will generate the usual number of minions and just ensures that 1 of those minions will be of a higher Tier.
Patches the Pirate: Still stinks
Pyramad: Still stinks
Golden Soul Juggler: Is now insane against Mech!
Selfless Hero: Now becomes a really nice late tier unit if you can get a triple. Also, this is a bit nuts in any early Mech comp. It's real strong to know that Selfless Hero won't give shield to an already shielded Cobalt.
Shudderwock, Queen Wagtoggle and Infinite Toki finally playable !
Infinite Toki was very powerful before the nerf, so I expect her to be on the same tier than Rafaam and Edwin. It is also kinda weird that they didn't nerf Rafaam, his winrate is way over above other heroes.
Golden Selfless Hero + Baron Rivendare is now viable, divine shield for everybody !
Why is Rafaam not removed from the hero pool? The hero is just dumb, even if you try to play around the hero power he might accidentally steal your best minion (via Kaboom-Bot or Hydra) for friggin 1 mana. Also, can they please get rid of Jaraxxus and Millificent? In case those two don't get to acquire a sufficient number of tribal minions (in case of Lord J this hurts even more, since his opponents might just deny him most of the good demons by buying them) their hero power is basically useless.
Apart from that Toki is very likely to return to top tier status. Not sure what to think about that, by far the best change is Selfless Heros fix.
I think these changes are huge and, for the most part, great.
Shudderwock might actually be a real threat now. It was always just plainly outclassed by discovering Bran. Now, you can make reasonable use of the hero power at all points in the game.
Queen Wagtoggle actually looks like a reasonable early game hero now.
Toki, as normal, the wording is confusing. Will have to actually see how this works. Might be a huge buff.
Patches is probably still pretty trash.
Pyramad could be legit good now.
Golden Soul Juggler buff is a nice buff, if not spectacular. It pings off divine shields now.
Selfless Hero is far less frustrating now.
Was anything removed for Pyramad and Patches? (Hopes for Rafaam and Sylvanas).

I can wait for them to remove Rafaam. I fucking hate that guy.
Agree with Selfless Hero, it is like a late game Nefarian protection.
Rafaam is good, but not the best IMHO. He adds an interesting twist into Battlegrounds as his opponents need to "try" to play around his hero power. Maybe a nerf to 2 mana would be appropriate, but I think that would make him instantly a Tier 4....
Excited for the changes as well. I've found myself playing way more battlegrounds than anything else recently. Overall, Shudder will be OP if they can get Pogos. Infinite Loki seems will be super OP end game
Glad to hear the Rafaam consensus. Even if he isn't the highest winrate hero, he still just sucks for the game. He's not fun to play against and he's not fun to play as.

WOW!!! These are some big changes. Thoughts?
All the heroes that got buffs needed them. Glad to see a larger pool as well.
Like the new golden Soul Juggler as well.
Selfless hero and Baron Rivendare comps for the win!
Glad to hear the Rafaam consensus. Even if he isn't the highest winrate hero, he still just sucks for the game. He's not fun to play against and he's not fun to play as.
Ehhhhhhh agree with the former but little is more fun than sniping a triple from your opponent. That is not to say it's balanced, but it's definitely fun imo.
Everyone seems to be "Soul Juggler is better at removing divine shields" but also of note is how it is better against tokens as well. Much better at knocking through the weaknesses of the demon build: Attack-buffed Mechs and Beasts.
Was I strange in appreciating Pyramad's Hero Power?
Queen Toggwaggle has a much better early game with +attack over +health. Many tier twos love attack such as Annoy-o-Tron and Rat Pack

So my take on these:

I mean, almost every single hero tier list I've seen has Rafaam in T1, and many have him as the best hero.
Isn't patches just a worse Ragnaros? I'm confused, someone enlighten me please.
Half the gold cost
The buffs might make those heroes playable if Rafaam weren't still around. Too bad.
I wonder how they'll do in games where Rafaam doesn't get picked for some reason.
"Why, you never expected justice from a company, did you? They have neither a soul to lose nor a body to kick." -- Lady Saba Holland
Deryl or Yogg are the best IMHO, but Rafaam is up there. Just not #1. I'm certainly not saying he's bad!
Edit: Also a lot of tier rankings are pretty bad.
Excited for the changes as well. I've found myself playing way more battlegrounds than anything else recently.

Every time they offer me Shudderwock, it would be best to go to pogos and murlocs, now it will be tier 1
Queen Wagtoggle is more interesting with the attack
Toki already did that (pre-nerf) but they put it back?
Patches is basically mini Ragnaros, it's very good in early game
Pyramad, it would have been better to choose the objective
Soul Juggler is better for removing divine shields
Rafaam is due for a rotation out.

By that logic, so is AFK.
