Not sure if confirmation bias, probably is, but lately it feels really streaky. barely into 7k MMR and I’ll hit 7-8 matches in a row where I am offered only 1 or no triples. I’ll eventually hit a game where I’m handed the win. I Watch many streamers and notice the same thing, they will go 7-8 matches where they finish between 4-8 and then slam out a couple 1st or 2nd places I. A streak and then back again. Do you think this is jut rng rearing it’s head? I haven’t been recording any hard data so this is just anecdotal.
just curious, thanks for the constructive comments ahead of time
Just had this happen again today, sitting around 7800 MMR and hit losing streak down to 6744, so weird. Running into the worst RNG in long streaks. Anyone else? Next to no triples, opponents have god sniping skills, losing damn near every attack roll to worst case trade.
anyone? Is there a battleground tracking app out yet?
I can`t explain how I easly get rank 1-3 two or three games in a row, then hit last place once or twice in a row, like I`ve been cursed with bad luck or smth. I guess it is the RNG.
The easy way to design Battlegrounds: A straightforward system in which minions are offered completely at random, without regard to the player's rating or middle name or astrological sign.
The hard way to design Battlegrounds: Some convoluted algorithm that -- for some reason? -- attempts to keep certain players from breaking through to higher rankings by denying them triples and making sure their unprotected power minions get sniped.
Which one do you suppose Blizzard went for?
One explanation for hitting a "ceiling" as your rating gets higher: The game is out to get you and make you sad.
Another explanation for hitting a "ceiling" as your rating gets higher: At higher ratings, your opponents are better at the game, and maybe you are not actually the best in the world.
Which do you suppose is more likely?

Started tracking my games and My win percentage climbs after updates and then sinks right before them, seems this might be because once everyone “figures out the meta” you find comps less consistently,
or to put another way after fresh changes most people don’t know what to pick so those that do win more, once everyone has been told what’s strong it comes down to who gets those minions offered to them first.

the game tries to keep you where you're at. that's it
there's the game balance you always wanted, not really in the cards themselves but in the system itself

just for fun to topic about triples :-)
Watched savjz drop thousands of MMR with terrible luck proves how swingy and rng heavy it is.
