Just finished second in a match where I had less than 10 seconds each turn during the final fights. My client each time hung for at least another 30 seconds after my recruit phase was deemed over. The final time my hero power wasn’t registered, I was nefarian. My opponent meanwhile each time showed up with multipal upgrades and new minions. No way they managed this in less than 10 seconds.
I agree this is total bullshit, until they fix this shit...i am not going to play battlegrounds. Especially because i play on phone, it is impossible to spend mana, let alone to plan something.
They need to drastically reduce the amount of animations.
Half the time I put off putting poison on my taunt Amalgan because as soon as a player is running microbots or a ratpack, it takes an ungodly amount of time to run through 30 poison kills on 1/1s.
I know they want the game to feel fast-paced, but there is no excuse for the way they have this set up.
No one should be able to start recruiting until all of the previous battles are over. It seems like a no-brainer to me, and I just can't imagine why they thought it was OK to do otherwise.
Even if you get to start early, you often still end up waiting once you've finished recruiting, so the "fast-paced" illusion is broken anyway. I'd rather play a game that's fair.
