As everybody knows, once the fight is done you have between 25 to 90 seconds to play, depending on the speed of your turn compared to others.
I play fast, and sometimes it isn't enough, or barely, so I found a "trick" to get more time.
For those who don't believe me, I don't mind recording it.
Do the recruitment phase, and when you enter the fight, alt+f4. Yes it closes the game, that's the point. Re-open it asap, the game will say "you were disconnected from the game, reconecting".
Boom, you skiped the fight, as the game already "knows" the result of every fight. It is at some point way faster than watching the mass hysteria happen. When you know, because you froze stuff, or play daryl and want to dance, this can save you over 60 sec / 80 sec.
Hopefully some people find it useful, at turn 12-13, i do this every fight, until the final 1v1.
They need to hold all the players until all fights have resolved then give a set 90 seconds to perform actions in the tavern. You have to wait to take your turn in play mode; everyone should wait in the Battlegrounds mode.
It's the only way to balance the timing in that mode towards skill rather than luck.

I would like this much more than "my opponent took until the end of the rope to make his recruitment plays and now I have 25 seconds on my next recruitment"

Yeah I know that but it is not reliable lol. they should just fasten animations.
Don't you need to check out what units other people deploy in order to update your strat?
I mean by hitting alt+F4 you totaly lose all insight on the pool available...
