Mine would have to be Lightfang Enforcer as the strategy I I've been having most success with is to select a minion from each group (Demon/Mech/Murloc etc), save one of my 7 slots for a buff battlecry/magnetic minion to use and sell, use and sell, combined with Lightfang on the board (hold the 2nd until I find the 3rd) I can usually get 4/5 massive minions.
So whose your MVP and how does it align with your strategy?
For my playstyle, it is definitely Lightfang or Brann. I have tried multiple times with Beasts and I cannot seem to figure out the comp or get the "no taunts but you never seem to attack my Mama Bear" luck. The most dominant wins I have gotten usually come from an early Lightfang with Hydra and a lucky Foe Reaper. Toss in an Amalgam and some dopey poisonous Murloc and you are good to go.
Zapp can be totally busted against demons and sometimes beasts, but I usually only take him if I know I am facing demons late. Bolvar comp is probably the most fun and ridiculous though.
Just follow the nerfs. Originally, the MVP was Mama Bear, so she got nerfed (but she is still good). Lightfang and Nighmare Amalgram are next to get hit with the bat, so right now I would say those two are the MVP's.

The devs did say on reddit that they are thinking about changing Amalgam to a 2/2 minion but stats aren't what makes in MVP.
Brann for me. I seem to have much more success with battlecry scaling than Lightfang. But those two are kind of a given. For my hipster answer, I'd say Metaltooth Leaper. Landing a couple of those early on your Amalgams, Cobalt Guardians, and even Psych-o-Trons can really carry you through the mid game, and as they start to pile up they turn your Cobalt Guardians into powerhouses and make mechs into a viable strategy even without Junkbot.
No, really, they are. Just emote someone when RNG screws them over once or twice and 7/10 times they will drop out. You don't need good cards to get at least into Top 4.
Also, I agree that Amalgam is a serious problem. It makes runs far more linear because the entire winning strategy is to get it and buff it into oblivion. If you can do that then you've pretty much won the game.
Pogo Hopper, easily. This current game I'm in, I tripled up and got a Brann, from a Golden Pogo Hopper. Then, I got 3 more Pogo Hoppers and it's over 100/100. I love it.

Lightfang and Brann carry me all the time - favorite strat and I would hate to see them get nerfed other than moving up a tier or something. Anyone else feel like they have silently nerfed Lightfang through discover a tier 5 minion? I don't seem to ever get her as an option anymore.

They would not do that without mentioning it. Stealth nerfs are not a thing.
Think about it -- the ONLY reason for nerfs is to make the players happy by providing a better game experience. But players would definitely be VERY unhappy if they discovered evidence of a stealth nerf. On the other hand, players are always happy with transparency, even if they disagree with a particular nerf.
So from Blizzard's perspective, there is simply nothing to be gained by performing a stealth nerf.

I still feel like it's Junkbot, even after being nerfed to tier 5.
Not loving how the recent patch seems to have increased the RNG factor in the early game. If you don't roll well early it's pretty hard to get off the runway, and if you do roll well it's hard not to win. Decision making is less of an influence.

You are right they wouldn't do that - but I just feel like they have adjusted the number cause I used to find her about every second game in the start, but now I think I have been on a 50 game spree without ever discovering her with atleast 2 triples at tier 4 on average, but still getting Brann fairly often so atleast that helps with my strat. I just got my Tinfoil hat on xD

Lightfang and it isn't close. The card needs a ban and fast. First person to triple into a lightfang wins an absurd percent of the time.

Menagerie strat is definetly a cancer

I would love to see Amalgam and Lightfang disappear and an actual menagerie come into play.
Show me dragons and elementals! Bog Slosher would be interesting.
I would say the true MVP's are:
Cobalt Guardian
Pack Leader
Soul Juggler
what I've seen so far these little guys decide the most important part of the run dividing top4 and the rest
not sure about murloc package, it would be early zerus Gentle Megasaur but otherwise it's very hard to get it as tier 6
and yea Lightfang, Brann or Zapp are all game changing minons but first you have to get there...
Mimsy Were The Borogoves
The target of Bog Slosher loses all previous buffs, though, so it would be decent only in the very early game.

Nightmare amalgam needs to be removed from the game. Every other card is fine, more or less, or could be with some balance tweaking.
When the same one card is the main win condition in EVERY strategy and comp, its bonkers broken.
I wont play the game mode properly until this bullshit minion is removed.
the 1/2 murloc that gives poisonous
The secret MVP of BG...are emotes!
