I have played two battlegrounds games now in which we get three people at the very end. My opponents get a bye every other round, and I am playing a real opponent every round. This allows them to plan out their turns better, stock up resources, etc, while I am forced to be in full battle mode... for example, my opponents might get an extra round of lightfang, while I don't get the opportunity. There needs to be a system in which the person playing against Kel Thuzad rotates, it shouldn't just be random.
This is gonna be fixed they said. Also you're not supposed to face the same player multiple times a game, which happens currently.
Any clue when this is planned for? Or sources? Being near the bottom and still getting smacked by double lightfang people at the top is a pain in the backside, and grows old early. Of course my mediocre AFKay list can handle a couple of massive 30/30s from your lightfangs every other match, whilst I avoid other opponents entirely! Also irksome how, by that point, it takes two losses to go from top few to out at 7/8th, but that's how a format with such low health pools, such low damage early, and high damage lategame goes.
Yeah this is also an issue for me I face multiple times with early riser and lose 20 hp without doing nothing. also last three people I get no free turn while opponent gets twice and gain enough time to build their team.
Look at this shit from last game this literally happens every game I lose. This game I faced against them again and again until I left with 1 hp lol. Than I started winning straight 4 games but because of a single bad attack order I lost
Can we please get rid of Murlocs or revert the buff? Everyone and their mom is trying to get the same stuff and if you went for another route you might as well concede just because of how easy it is to stack them with loads of stats, poisonous etc.
Okay, it might be because of how little diversity this game mode offers. But it's very annoying that you're basically forced to buy specific minions to keep up with your opponents or kiss your ass goodbye. I stopped counting the number of games where I've been offered few to zero Murlocs early on only to get annihilated by everyone else who went for them.

At 5500-5600ish (I seem to have capped out, hopefully temporarily, though a lot of the losses are just being offered two bad heroes so hopefully better when I get some packs), I see little murlocs, and they're not too strong. They die very easily in the mid-early lategame, before they can get multiple adapts, and are deathly weak to kaboom bots and other mech strategies (cobalt's DS, for example, usually kills multiple), as well as cleave, until ultra lategame. Also, the buffs are generally sold and rotated back into the pool, so others can and will hit them. Menagerie strats are just OP if you can get a lightfang, and even without it, crowd favourite and cycling buffs works best in a menagerie, too.

It is very rare for me to see Murlocs as a full strategy, it is too hard to get them into the late game unless you get very lucky. I feel like Murlocs are too weak in most games, and the player (or players) that go for them do well in the early game but are among the first to be knocked out.
Crowd favorite dies easily to any poisonous minion, it struggles due to the same reason why no one picks demons = they become nothing but a big pile of stats. Also, the Cobalt/Menace strategy is nice IF you get them early on but if you're like TT3-4 and they never show up it's basically gg.
Regarding Menagerie, they're about to nerf Lightfang soon so hopefully this route won't be as oppressive anymore. During one of my last games I had a board with a level 2 Lightfang and multiple Murlocs (plus a 90/90-ish Amalgam) with bubble, poisonous + huge stats. Guess what? Still not enough since my opponent went for the same strategy just with a level 2 Brann applying Windfury + Deathrattle on top of my adaptations.
Watching that was ridiculous and made me remember how broken Mechs would be if there weren't any poisonous minions. Ah well, the mode is still in beta so there's hope for it.

What MMR are you at? There is always one with murlocs in the top 4 at 6700 MMR always with divine shield, poison and sometimes windfury. By far the best end game is with murlocs if you can survive untill then. They destroy mech and menagerie unless you are nerfarien ofc.
I play around 6200... I actually love playing Murlocs as George, because right when u start to fall off (around when you start getting 10 gold per round) you can hero power your lil fellas and get double value off them... That is about when you want to hero power them anyway. Brann can be decent with them too, getting buffs off battlecries
Yes, they didnt address this issue and the game feels more imbalanced than ever. Beasts are pretty irrelevant outside high rolls, mechs are meh, and Demons need a way to get sticky
it's frustrating to face the top 2 / 3 players several turns in a row and just take 10 damage each time because they got a bunch of good RNG with their rolls and I get the leftovers and try to scrap together something decent... if you're one of the losing competitors you should face other losing competitors for fairness

I found my remedy at last, and now my guiding star is shining; and when my present becomes my past, I realise, that every cloud has a silver lining!

At what rating are you playing?

I hate being against AFK the turn she gets her minions - it is almost always a smack in the face or if im lucky a tie.

Playing against same people again again didn't change and frequency increased after last patch this is just so terrible.
