so now that the entire adventure has been released, I'm curious what classes people used the most in the heroic challenges. I wanted to use each class at least once in the adventure, and managed to do so.
my tally is as follows (* = used an unedited deck I already had built for constructed play rather than creating a deck specifically for the boss) :
both pre-constructed Warrior decks I used were patron warriors (so was Garr, but I'm not sure if it was the same as the deck I used for the 2 in the next week - I seem to remember using Axe Flingers in that one, but I may just be confusing it with the class challenge). both pre-constructed Druid decks were my Ramp Druid. for Nefarius v.1 I used a modified mill druid. the pre-constructed Warlock was a Demonlock (as was the Chromaggus deck, but one I made specifically for that fight), and the Shaman was an Ancestor's Call/Malygos deck (though Al'akir won the game without Maly ever getting to come out and play).
and the other decks that weren't already pre-existing: the mage deck was a modified freeze mage, the rogue was something of a mill rogue, and the hunter was ostensibly something of a feign death hunter with swamp oozes, but I beat it on the first try without using any of the feign death mechanics. the pally deck was just a mash up of big dumb creatures. all of the priest decks were just homebrewed for those bosses.
for the normal modes, I wanted to use a single class, and a single pre-existing deck (Rogue), but I ended up having to switch to Priest on Garr because the Rogue deck I was using just wasn't suited for that encounter.
