I did read something about teaching their AI to play so that it acts fast during their turn while reducing amount of dumb decisions due it. I wonder if AI is this time around made to play minions after they attack so that they don't just get board cleared as easily.
Also, hopefully Heroic this time around doesn't mean "face hunter" logic.
If you are referring to BRM AI then they have probably improved the AI a bit since Naxx, but I wouldn't expect too much more. If the Naxx AI was that much smarter some of the Heroic fights would be way too difficult to people with average size collections. It's a fine balance that must be found. I hope there are some improvements, but still has to be slightly... bad.
In Naxx at least if you had a semi-decent deck, eventually due to your draws or an AI misplay you could win. But without those misplays, you would have to have some really good cards to beat a good AI consistently.

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible. - T. E. Lawrence
Thing is. Heroic bosses should not be made hard via "always attack face if you can" logic. I rather face a bit weaker heroic hero powers and decks if it means that the AI actually interacts with the board and match is not about drawing the right cards on your starting hand.
It's like how in some card games released over the years, AI is so good that it makes it enjoyable without rigging their decks and stuff to make them a challenge.

Actually AI has improved A LOT. AI got complete overhaul back when Naxxramas was released.
Heroic is already beyond the "new players" anyway. A lot of multiplayer card games have way more competent AI.

Yeah it still makes dumb plays like Inner Fire 0/2 Nerubian Egg when it is sleeping but still.
