After a month or so passing by, I realized there is no single evidence of any sort of pve content this expansion.
Is it confirmed there is going to be any? When the whole Scholomance Academy thing was presented, I really felt it would be easy adventure content, either in Ashes of Outland or old adventures fashion, or as a dungeon run like the Dalaran Heist.
However, for any reason, it is yet to be said anything about it, and as the time goes by, I can't be sure anymore if this is going to have a PvE adventure or not. To be honest, I'd feel kind of sad, fighting the Headmaster in the dungeons of Scholomance would have been sweet, and the design of many of those proffessors opens to interesting bosses.
Please don't. I don't want to be forced to spend exorbitant amounts of gold or money for access to otherwise uncraftable cards.
You get much more value in terms of legendarys for gold in adventures compared to packs, unless of course you have GODLY LUCK oppening them but in average you get much more from the adventures.
You should take another look at the Roadmap, we are getting a "new Solo Experience". The fact that it was locked before and isn't called "Adventure" (like in the 1. phase) means that it's neither a linear Adventure nor a Dungeon run. I'm very excited for it.
Follow Jaina Proudmoore’s journey from scholar to mighty Mage in Hearthstone Book of Heroes, an all-new solo experience! Hearthstone Book of Heroes will bring fresh and FREE single player content over the course of the next 12 months, until the stories for all 10 core Heroes have been told. Defeating all 8 bosses in this linear adventure will reward 1 Mage Pack, containing only Mage cards from Standard!
I would certainly like more than 1 pack, but it's FREE! I like when people get free stuff and then complain that it's not ENOUGH free stuff or not the free stuff that they want. Oh well, hopefully the content is enjoyable.

But their legendary status is completely arbitrary and meaningless when they're neither crafted nor randomly opened. Would you say the value from adventures was any higher if all of the cards in them had the 1-per-deck limit?

It seems there is a delay and blizzard is being tight lipped about it. Remember there is meant to be a new game mode as well.
Maaaan I hope they make a new dungeon run style adventure, the galakrond and ashes adventures were not interesting at all
Fully agreed

Tournament mode
HERE.WE.GO
covid impacts developers production and I expect to see many delays or reduction in content / quality,
Also blizzard invests more in the battlegrounds mode, this also has an impact
1. Nobody forces you to do anything
2. Exorbitant? Seriously? It's like 20€
3. There hasn't been uncraftable cards since like 2016 or something
4. Let me have my fun ffs

"There is no spoon"
"Defeating all 8 bosses in this linear adventure will reward 1 Mage Pack"? Jesus Christ.....
I mean it is free, but they could be a little less stingy about it than that.
Well one pack for each class over time but still
What about the adventure specific cards of last year?
That was shameless on Blizzard's account.
squadW
Well they used to do that all the time. It was only with Knights of the Frozen Throne that they started doing free expansion-themed solo content.
I guess developers cant do their work from home...
