So i just finished my very first Tombs of Terror run and it was obviously a lot of fun. With the plague bosses designed to last several runs i got curious of how far people were able to come in their very first run.
Has anyone managed to finish a plague boss with their first attempt? I ignored any informations about the treasures and stuff before the run so it was a fresh experience for me but in the end i got the boss down to 73 life remaining. Im a bit proud of myself but i dont know how good of a try that was so it might have very well been a crap attempt^^
My first run ended with the Boss around 189 HP on one account.
Then tried it on another account, and I got him from 300 to 0 in one attempt, even though the deck was relatively similar. Big difference was, that I got the Auto-Rush passive. It didn't even go all that well because I was never able to draw one of my two Frost Lich Jainas, and towards the end, I lost quite a bit of health thanks to several Murk Eyes. But all in all, it wasn't too difficult on normal. Haven't tried heroic yet.
Defeated the murloc plague lord on the first run. Used a ton of small spells with Crook and Flail, was able to get multiple Ragnaros' (Ragnaroses? Ragnarii? whatever) out early. What helped a lot was when he used Plague of Murlocs, allowing my board to get buffed by the golems he was summoning.
Can't get past General Husam, everytime I get to him he draws Murloc special to summon a random murloc and clears my board with rush - EVERYTIME, one game he drew a full board of them, just when I had the upper hand

I got the treasure that reduces enemy minions attack by 1. At first i thought be rather mediocre especially since i didnt had a minion based deck but it turned out to be extremly powerfull.

Just curious, how far was your first run?

Way too easy, beat all the lords so far first try
Skidaddle skidoodle your Milhouse manastorm is now a noodle
first run ended at boss 2...
:(
To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
last boss 12 hp, I died due to fatigue.
The Rush passive was definitely the key to my first-try victory. I don't think I'd have made it otherwise.
Paying close attention to the shifting hero powers of the final boss is also important.

First rune reno mage/spell focused deck boss 40hp left .... this special thing dealing 1 damage to all minions each turn was quite handy with murlocs!
You went in Anomaly mode on your first run? Brave soul!

Highly doubt you actually had a fair run, I'd put money on the fact you got extremely lucky with all your artifacts and buckets.
Can confirm this Adventure is complete ass on the basis of dual classes destroying deck building.
I love dual classes worked perfectly for me :)
First Chapter got the boss down to 23 won in my second run. Second chapter I got upgrade bar passive and Bob's deck so I won on the first go.
Dual classes make the deck-building so much more powerful it's not even funny.

first try, kinda cyclone mage
ring that removes 1 atk is great
Got the first boss down to 46 in my first run. Ran out of gas after that. 5 more cards in the deck and I'd have had him.
Got last boss down 200 ran out of Cards.
Finished the Murloc plagueboss in my first Attempt, with Reno and the Treasure that reduces costs from your hand whenever you play an odd-cost card
edit: yeah, it also had open the waygate and Mana Cyclone
edit 2: won because of that Iceblock-like trasuere that does 20 damage
