As a spectator of Hearthstone e-sports, I have to admit that this is the most boring format to watch. And it's good that control warrior is one of the strongest decks right now to proove that!
You are watching 2 hours warrior matches, in which both players have 50 health on turn 30. But not only one time (remember the odd warrior mirrors), no but 2-3 times! This format has do die right now! And yes - I am salty.
Playing today with Tess rogue and scheme, I manage to play the 10 manas spell summon x2 copies of a minion in your deck and the 7/9 minion summon a minion in battlecry, the hunter spell give 3 damage in two enemies and the warrior spell both player get 6 armor and the 2/3 weapon, when my deck over I play Tess and scheme and put other 13 Tess in the deck, each Tess played create a board with x3 6/6 and x1 7/9, kill 3 health minions and give 6 armor for each player (I only able to survive because this).
What the result you may ask? I win, but before that the control warrior survived for freaking 12, 12!!! waves of massive boards and clears, I win with only one more Tess in my deck.

I have the same feelings like OP. In any other format we had chance to watch 5-6 classes and a mix of all match ups. Right now? Warrior, rogue, some mages, very few hunters and single hipsters playing druid or paladin. Basically 2-3 classes, games are only warrior mirror, war vs rogue or rogue vs rogue. And this is 2-3 matches per player! I really admire casters, how they are not bored comenting those games.

I also find Specialist very dull. I am amazed it got approved tbh, it was only ever going to appeal to the extreme hardcore and mirror matches were always going to be a problem. Formats that encourage class diversity are just much more fun to watch.
I find this meta to be the most boring I have ever played in. I love Esports, but watching mage, rogue and warrior (with focus on the latter) is pretty damn uninteresting. I just get bored of watching warrior. Generating hundreds of lackeys as a rogue is boring to watch, conjuring giants while waiting for discovery lottery is also pretty tiresome. But that's what I feel, guess some people love rogue and mage and I have no problem with that at all. I'd like to see some shaman decks rise (not murloc obviously).

It is just insane.
The format is pretty boring by itself. Conquest with a ban was the best format honestly.

Indeed, one extreme outlier of an anecdote does not counter the dozens of shamefully dull matches, many of which did not include Warrior.

i really liked the idea of the specialist format. if the game was balanced it could have been a great format. but yeah, the control warrior mirrors were horribly boring. it still baffles me that they didn't nerf warrior.

The format is not the problem, CW is.

agreed, I find it boring as well. Remember how exciting the world championship was in the old format? this is nothing like that.
they last about an hour tops.
there is a warrior mirror going on now and has been for about an hour, 1-0...
