Are we able to attend a pre release event with fake gps? It would be so awesome if we could get a sneak peak of the expansion from home.

I don't see why not, it worked for Nemsy so it should work for this. Also, you can open up your packs too if you want, so yippee for that I guess? Honestly though I feel like this idea of a pre release is just stupid, gets rid of all the fun you can do in terms of an actual release (going by MTG prerelease standards, which are normally all pretty fun).

Edit: now that I read the thing, turns out you can only use cards you opened up from packs for this, can't make or use any cards you didn't get, seems a bit scammy imo.

It should be possible

I hope a lot of people will do this so blizzard cant ban xD.

 meh, just wait. i got nemsy from gps and it was hell. I would not bother with it just to open your packs a little early.

On a related(?) note, I was wondering if there would be any streams and/or videos of tomorrow's action from some of the locations?

The closest place for me is a 4.5 hour drive (each way).  BTW, I realize some people are even further away from their closest location.

I'm also not into the GPS-spoofing thing...I struggle with technology...sad but true.

Just curious.  I know we saw the Day 9 final card reveal and have only 4 more days to go, but I was hoping we could see some new gameplay for TBP.

I don't think that it should be hard to do, the fact is that I'm not interested at all, even if it's easy xD

 Yea i got Nemsy with fake gps and it was so much trouble ... and in the end of the day the waiting is what hypes you the most .. 4 days left :D

What do you mean "fake gps"? The events r set. I dont think that any Fireside Gathering event will be a pre-release one, only the ones listed on the official site, no?

By fake GPS he means using an emulator or vpn or something to change where the server thinks he is. But yeah though, only specific gatherings are the prerelease ones.

Yeah I have been trying for the past 2 hours and I got nothing either. I think they did add some blocker to make sure you are actually connected to their WiFi and not only location.

Hey, can you get Nemsy with this trick? Just try with any account and give some feedback.
I can't do it anymore. I can join any Fireside, but I can't start a match. Some error occured, and the match was closed immediately.
Look like they add some verification steps, and prevent this trick.

I had Nemsy before when she came out and I did the same thing.
