How does hearthstone progamers became famous? i just hit legend position 67 c: i mean, im not looking for fame, i just dream to partecipate championship and other stuff was this only for streaming?
You'll need directions to Blizzard headquarters, an appointment with Ben Brode, and some kneepads. You'll be a famous pro-gamer afterwards, and then some.

Most got famous on Twitch/YouTube as a personality long before they ever got invited to any tournament.(basically everyone at ATLC)
There are a few exceptions like:
Kolento, who held rank#1 in multiple regions and forced everyone to recognize him.
Zetalot, for always playing priest no matter how much it sucked but still getting high legend each season.
And there are many more of course but these came to mind, if you're good enough with enough free time you can always qualify for blizzcon, twitch is better if you're looking to make money out of it though.
Kolento was also a major deckmaker. Thus many of the popular decks had his name on it. Thus once he started showing up, it was all "oh, I know that name!"
Firebat, meanwhile, got big by winning blizcon.
But that's popularity. If you are talking about joining big tournaments.. well.. you... join big tournaments. Any of the ones that want to qualify for blizcon points must have at least 128 open seats. They can invite others in but at least 128 must be pure open, meaning you can join in. The tournaments you see streamed on twitch/youtube/whatever tend to be the ends of those tournaments, where only 4-16 people are left. Thus getting visible means winning to the quarterfinals.
(in the past, they gave advantages to current pro gamers, thus making it harder for new folks to get in. That's stopped now so you will be in teh same spot as Kolento/Trump/Firebat when it starts.
For the record, getting to legend nets you some points, though the higher the better.
So yeah, basically if you want to get into the championship run just get to joining tournaments. Hopefully someone who knows about how to get started can post below me with info. otherwise, hunt around for info on tournaments going on that you can join.

Last I checked, players weren't programmers. :P
One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
Not exactly what I meant.
The word the OP was likely looking for was "players" not Hearthstone "programmers".
