Couldn't wait a few more hours and decided to open just one pack to pass the time.
...
Ended up spending all the gold I had saved up for this wing. I have so little self-control. ;~;
On the plus side, got like, 7 Rares, 2 Golden Commons, 3 Epics, 2 Golden Rares and a Legendary, from like 6 packs so that was nice.... but no Brann for me this week. >.>
In my personal opinion: just buy the adventure, it's great value for money.
is it though? the content you get via the raid, is rather mediocre. it pales in comparison to the single player content that most other ccg is putting out, in terms of length and how involved it is. adventures have nice seasoning on them, but when you get down to the serving size, it wont make you full.....
i think most of the "value" comes from just having all the cards on time in a ccg(which is pretty important if you want an even playing field)
i'd love to see somebodys explanation as to why it IS great value for the money, i think its just more convenient than grinding out the gold if anything.
Well you can get 700 gold in like 4-5 days if you spend a lot of time. But I know the waiting pain. Right now I have 545 gold and only got a 40 gold quest today. I could get to 30 wins for 100 gold today but it's only 685 gold today, so not enough for a wing today. Damn gold limitation, have to wait for tomorrow :/
Worth wise, you won on that exchange. this adventure is a good deal for money , so I think you may have done good buying packs instead but that is only my opinion on the matter.
Well if you think about 700 gold or cash, it was already proven that spending money on advantures is a better investment.
But then again i decided to wait a week, its not like im buying packs neither.
The funny thing about this is I never spend money on adventures. I only ever spent money on packs. And I get plenty of packs otherwise with gold, daily quests, arena, etc. I always here it's more efficient to do it the other way. But I never need to. I find I have the best legendary luck when buying packs in bulk. And every time an adventure comes around I have enough of a nest egg (if you can call it that it's generally around 2k gold) where I don't need to spend real money on the first few wings. Then I grind out the rest within a week or two. The exception is Blackrock Mountain, which I stalled on getting it in favor of packs. So I wound up behind on the last couple wings. But I still never paid for it.
As I say this, I have the first wing of LoE bought on gold and almost 1600 gold saved. That's 2 wings right there. I will likely be done grinding out the last wing's gold cost by Thanksgiving, where I remember reading that there won't be a wing released anyway. And then over the Holiday season, I plan to buy some more bulk packs to round out the collection. Am I the only one who does it this way?

What legendary?
Baron Geddeon.
well the answer to your question is
you will buy the wing with cash!
your lack of self control will tell you so....
Yes, agithore, this will be your first non gold purchase in League of Explorer
join the dark side
We won't get a Wing after this one till December 3rd, so I'll get the gold by then. :P
Well, you have two weeks to get it back before the next wing drops. With quests you can get the gold for a wing by getting 12-18 wins per day,
Edit: That's for a week.

Save money by skipping lunch a few days in a row.

I didn't have a signature so Flux added one for me.
Did someone say Reno Jackson?
here is my point of view:
700 gold can buy you 7 packs being worth 9.99$USD
or 700 gold buy you one wing worth 4.99USD

hope this helps
7 packs is worth 280 dust.
At least how I do it.
Galavant Animation
I did it too, while I was saving for naxxramas but I had poor collection..
anyway you got good cards so it's something..
I totally forgot there's a break on next week wing which is great since I have 380 gold XD
