Why do you play this game? I cant possibly understand how playing whatever is in your hand and attacking face every turn is fun. Yet more than half my games are against aggro players. Please explain to me.
as other threads have pointed out, these players are generally trying for fast games to finish quests or gain gold. Plus it helps prevent some games from going on to fatigue.

Look, the people you are after are the people you depend on: we set up your computers, we deliver your email, we connect your calls, we backup your files, we guard your networks while you sleep. Do not %#&^ with us.

so the entire fun part of the game is earning gold? doesnt seem like a great game to me
Why do you play the game? Gold is needed to buy packs or arena runs.

i myself cant understand if the player has the option to play something else why he is still playing aggro. i assume that most who play aggro dont have another option. i was playing zoo when i started in this game and i hated the guts of it. aggro decks are boring and tiring and not entertaining at all. mind that the only difference about midrange control decks and aggro is the time of the games cause its not certain you will have more wins with aggro than with everything else. i would say its the opposite for example zoo if you get a mass removal and heal you lost on the spot, same with face hunter if your opponent heals and builds a board or you play vs a warrior you pretty much lost. i understand playing zoo for countering druid which is very popular for example but then if everyone tries to counter druid no one who plays druid will remain (you see the thing about counters?). as i see it its a circle........so everything has a counter and its not like playing aggro will ensure you many wins. i just find it logical that most players who started this game for a couple of months or so to have options only in zoo/face hunter/mech mage cause everything else is pretty much very expensive or not viable at all. to build druid or paladin takes a LOT of dust. im 10000% certain the players who play aggro would love to play druid or paladin but they just cant cause they dont have the cards
Me? Free-to-play, quick games=faster gold. Nothing more, in fact, my dream is to have a Control Paladin completed, but I am missing some Legendaries. So I play Face Hunter and Mech Mage.
I play what ever my quests call for that day and then what ever screams play me the rest of the day. Sometimes I play aggro, sometimes control and sometimes just something weird. Most people playing aggro decks are looking for fast games win or lose and also they are so common because they are fairly cheap to craft
If you are such a crybaby and you can't handle aggro, I don't think you should be playing Hearthstone.
Anyways some people play aggro because they are generally quite cheap decks and most people who don't use money on the game need cheap decks to actually make it somewhere in the ranks.

see what this guy said? now read my post above. players want to play something different but they just cant cause this game is unfriendly to the new player except if you spend like 200$ on the spot. everyone who is f2p or almost f2p started with an aggro deck and went with it at least 500 wins to even be able and try something different.
Aggro decks are needed to create a healthy meta. If all the decks were control, combo or midrange it will be boring at some point. Aggro decks have their own way to be and it's absurd to rage about their existance when the game itself gives you such an enjoyable diversity. There are just different types of decks, deal with it.
"Aggro is a strategy that aims to win by producing maximum damage output in the shortest number of turns. This strategy often places a heavy emphasis on using creatures as efficient damage sources. Aggro strategies can be slow and relentless or fast and ruthless, in both cases attempting to overwhelm the opponent's defenses and reduce them to 0 life."
Very similar with Face Hunter playstyle hum?

Have a great deck that's really, really cheap? Help the new players out
1. aggro is not just face hunter
2. some people like short games and winning more then other decks
3. blah blah face hunter is not only face blah blah can be complex blah.
4. grinding gold for packs to play other decks
5. some people like playing face hunter
6. search function will bring up a dozen threads like this.

And I can say the same thing to control players
Why waste your time playing control where you sit there with a thumb up your ass till turn 10?
I play a good sample size of games, read meta, then play what is best. Doesn't matter if it's Hunter or control warrior, I assume others do same

I have the option to play any kind of deck. And guess what, i play all kinds of archetypes including face-hunter. I have fun with all of them.
The point that makes aggro or face even funnier, is watching threads like this flourish. Then i go and play some more.
But @Balthier21 said hes 10000% sure that i play it because i dont have other cards, so i must be wrong!

Everytime i read a post like this one i see that some players still dont understand the theorical part of decks archetypes.
Here's a short article from Magic, it helps a lot to understand card games in general:

And here's a quote from this article:

Aggro strategies can be slow and relentless or fast and ruthless, in both cases attempting to overwhelm the opponent's defenses and reduce them to 0 life."
