So, now we are having new Silverhand recruits to spice up our Token Paladin decks!
This is our classic Silverhand Recruit:
And now we're adding 7 more:
I think this is a great feature and it adds a little piece of lore to the game as the Order of the Knights of the SilverHand is not only composed of humans, but also Blood Elves, Draeneis and more. This will make me be more fond of my tokens when I summon them.
The art of that particular card is odd. It's a Night Elf in how their skin and hair looks, but they have blue eyes, which is strictly a High Elf thing. I'm going to just assume that this is all just the broadest swath of characters they could come up with that still relatively adhered to the Alliance/Stormwind vibe of the original dudes.
And another thing that might influence it: the WoW race/class combos have been getting extended where they basically want every race to be able to be every class. They are doing this class by class, and a bunch of them have already been done, including Warlock, which got a special Questline for it to explain how the holiest of holy Lightforged Draenei were now suddenly possible to become Warlocks, despite that obv clashing with their usual nature.
So it is very likely that Night Elf Paladins are a thing sooner rather than later, even in WoW.

they are being treated as diferent cards for a ress effects lmao
That’s actually not a new problem. A long time ago I faced a Big Priest while piloting a Druid deck. I can’t remember exactly how it played out, but the Priest might have used Potion of Madness on something of mine that had Soul of the Forest on it, and my minion died on their side to give them a Treant. Later I used Poison Seeds to give them a few more Treants. A while after those were killed off the Priest cast spellstone to rez three different minions, two were Treants!
This was before Tteants had alt art work too! The only difference was their watermark. Soul treant was a Classic card, while Seeds treant token was a Naxx card.
The same happens if you use 1x Legacy and 1x Core versions of Hex and a priest tries to rez with their spellstone. In fact, hit them with those and the Datkmoon elemental that casts Hex and their Eternal Servitude might give them 3 frogs as their “different” options.
I feel like they should be able to fix this somehow, and honestly should. Especially if they do anymore “reprints” in sets like Caverns of Time.

What do you think guys?
WoW hasn't even Night Elf Paladin, lol
Delas Moonfang was recruited into the Alliance and is a Night Elf
They are nice.

Yes you can summon x4 silver hand recruits from one spell that states DIFFERENT minions....
I love it. Good choice.
Nice to see some ginger representation. Unite, brothers.
I wish they kept the original art style. Or that you could just select them like card backs.

The old silver hand recruit looks dated by comparison, and frankly also not like a recruit.
Burn them all!
Ugly as fuck shit with ugly boob recess armour. What an ugly times we are live in, jeez~
Does the wow universe really deserves shit like that
Unnecessary woke inclusivity. The night elf doesn't even make sense and they've bugged out the resurrect mechanics.
lol
Clear proof of deterioration of art.
You guys are so harsh.
Are those a.i. generated? Photobashing? How did you make them?
While I do like these silverhand recruits I think it's the only reason they've done this. The night elf one is odd indeed.
