I think it has been about 2 months now since Ive played standard. Maybe longer.
I was playing a ton of duels, but the latest expansion sort of made doing that less pleasurable.
I cant say there really has been a card made that I want to play with since that 5/4 demon that shuffles 3 primes into your deck. That was literally the last time a card captured my interest.
Shame about duels though. It was quite fun until the new quests came out.
Now I just dont know. I think maybe Hearthstone left me more than I left it. Will be a shame to leave after building a library so many years. But, that is the direction they are moving.

Sorry to hear you're not vibing with HS anymore. Maybe all you need is a break. Play something else for a bit and come back later, it might feel more fun next expansion. You never know.
Either way, just do something that does make you happy. No need to feel handcuffed to a game, even if you did spend money on it before.
Your post could have been made by me except for the first sentence, so I understand how you feel.
I have taken a break and it feels quite good so far. Watching HS Grandmasters is a lot more fun than playing the game at this point. I don't miss playing it at all, I just do some other stuff and realise how much time and energy I dedicated to this game that gave me a lot of great moments, but nothing really important for my real life. So I don't regret leaving the game and now that I have seen the nerfs, I am even more convinced that this was the right choice.
Whatever you do, don't forget that it's your time, energy, and money and that you have the responsibility to spend your time wisely. If you don't enjoy the game, try a 3-day break without missing your quests and see if at day 3, you feel the urge to play or if it's more like a work that you "have to" do in order to not miss the quest rewards. If the latter is the case, I would highly recommend quitting the game.
"I think I might quit" threads are just as much against the rules as "I quit" threads.

The big problem is they aren't innovating the game at all. They only milk it. Sad story.

I am biased, though.
