So basically, I've joined the dark side. After much frustration, I've finally decided to swallow my pride an play a brainless face hunter cancer deck. I've never won so many games in an hour compared to any other deck I've ever played.
I have most of the cards, I can build almost any deck in existance. I've tried most of them; they simply don't compare to the win rates you get with a facetard deck.
I like winning, and I'm using only gold instead of real $$$ to buy the expansions so ,as sad as it is, hunter is simply the best deck to play right now to get the most wins possible per hour.
I really hope blizzard does something to change it so huntard isn't so broken, I hate it, but until then I think I would be foolish not to abuse it like everyone else.
honestly though, I wish more people played face hunter, I'd get to legend so easily with all those free wins.
THIS. I really do not understand the toxic obsession with the new face hunter after quick shot. I almost never lose to them because i always run sludge belchers and heal bots with early game, regardless of the deck archetype

Like the unwillingness to accept Facehunter as a deck, they are unwilling to run proper cards to counter the deck. It is not about "I have put in card X, Y, Z and still lose", it should be about a complete change of gameplan to include an early game. It's not just the way to "build a deck" or "include certain cards", but also about mulligan, anticipation of the matchup and such. I guess people don't really understand what that is, and just keep bashing their heads against the wooden board full of rusty nails that is the Facehunter.
The mentality of the players contribute much more to the Facehunter's success than the powerlevel of the deck itself.

I actually like the position Hunter is in right now. Everything from hyper aggressive to heavy midrange variants are viable and can be played to success. They can also be beaten with consistency by some other strong decks. The only issue that I have with it is the game speed that encourages Hunter to be over represented. It seems to me that people play a lot more of Hunter not because it's easy or because it wins so much but because you can sit down and jam twenty games in an hour. Control decks are my favorite to play but they can be exhausting to grind. When playing aggro even if you lose it doesn't feel that bad because you didn't sink 20 minutes into it.

Oh boy..... Where to start
1. Face hunter isnt the best deck in the game. Reason why is because people who actually know to play card games know what can counter Face Hunter. The classes that counter Face hunter really hard is Warrior and priests which no one is bother playing because they think that playing Warrior or Priest will make their time playing hearthstone last 5 more mins ( oh no! >.>)
2. its pretty pathetic to be honest when someone gives up on a class because they dont put the time in improving their deckbuilding skills to fight the decks that are the most played. Honestly someone that abandons something for something that everyone is doing is shameful. Thats like if I was a Orioles Fan and I became a Yankee's Fan because they were winning.
3. I doubt that you have played other decks. Like i said in my first put, its not as if Hunter cant be counters with Taunts or heals, its just people are lazy and netdeck and dont bother to actually think things for themselves.
It's amusing to look at these nicely packaged, subtly asking for nerf threads.
"Oh witness the Leper on me that is the Facehunter, even I, the almighty great player, has fallen to this illness. Save us all by vowing for nerf to hunters, or you may be the next victim. Do this now, before it is too late."
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
As a priest player, I'll just say thanks for the free wins.
I mainly play priest, but do try out all classes (except druid....burned out after golden portrait). Right now it seems the popular decks all have a reasonably popularly played counter.
Facehunter is played not so much due to its win rate as due to the quick games, so ranking up happens faster. If you are seeing very high win rates its an anomaly, not the norm.
Haha, I am being a sadistic jerk here. I guess my fun comes from stopping others from playing, but that's just me.
Freeze mage is fun and interactive. Control priest... not so much. Playing against a control priest is really like sitting across with a priest, "Come repent with me in the holy light and attune for your sins of playing those mindless brain-dead face deck that you are so proud of. Bathe in the holy light and feel the grace of a 30 minute game where both players will have time to admire the marvelous artwork on the cards so delicately created by the artist. Open your mind to all your dark thoughts so that I can have an idea what dark and evil things I can do to you..." Oh wait.
What baffles me is why hunter (of all types but mostly face aggro) gets so much flak but everyone just accepts that 14 dmg from a druid or more on turn 9 is normal and you move on, just seems odd that they both involve drawing the correct cards, can be stopped by taunts but one is hated and the other is just ''part of the game''.
Just for the record the only decks I hate playing against are ones that slow the game down to a crawl, eg control priest (not midrange) and freeze mage. That is mostly because I enjoy playing the game xD
druids are getting the FoN hate, too, just not that much. hunters can have ridiculous openings where you are at 15 or less HP by t3 and thats really hard to come back from.
pewrsonally, I just cant stand the hunter playstyle for more than a couple of games, Id rather spend 20 minutes playing an epic ctrl vs ctrl matchup that goes to fatigue than go 3-3 with a hunter in the same time
Hunter is 100% not the best deck to play atm but its fast and extremely easy. The reason u are winning so much is because the people you play against are bad players and you prblly are making many mistakes with other decks or have bad builds(aka netdecked). Its extremely hard to make huge mistakes with hunter and its easy to counter it. Another thing with hunter is you dont need to make a good list yourself you can netdecked whatever list you want and do well. I only used face hunter in the past to get past the low ranks and for that its really good but in legend the deck is not that good anymore because the meta will mostly be control. That being said there are metas in legend where hunter is extremely good but for the most part the meta sucks for face hunter.

I've not spent a single penny on hearthstone yet and to get good winrates on ladder without most of the wallet decks it is hunter and warlock (zoo) that I'm left with. As a poor kid I'd suggest you to experiment with all the diversity in your collection, make crazy stuff and who know's you might make the metabreaker deck! Remember, even guys like Reynad can make Zoo.
You could also just smash your head against your table all day. Because that is more challenging than playing Face Hunter.
But thanks for all the free wins with my CW.
I can understand that poor ppl or stupid ppl that cannot reach legend otherwise play face huntard, but after that, there is just no reason for that retardation.
Smashing table all day is also much more challenging than armorsmith, armor up, armor up, shield block, armor up, shieldmaiden, shieldmaiden, armor up, brawl, armor up, armor up, armor up, armor up, shield slam, armor up, armor up, armor up YAWN.....

Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"
Nothing wrong with FaceHunter. I felt guilty when I started playing MechMage recently but a deck is a deck and the meta adapts.

There are only 2 type of decks that annoys me right now:
Face huntards and magemechab*tches. Also there were zoolocks but they are rarely seen now.
I do play huntard tho, when i'm farming 100g per day now (farming for brm). You're right since their games are too fast, most wins per hour.

These.
12 wins in ArenA with: Mage and Paladin, first time legend with Rogue
Oh come on, enough with the face hunter hate already. It is a viable deck, it is easy to play, but easy to counter at the same time.
