Hey all, I haven't played the game since October 2019, so I've missed quite a bit. I never have bothered with Wild, so was wondering what sets of cards to dust? TIA
I am not an expert but that's what I always do. Dust all the legendaries that see absolutely 0 play in wild (you can look that up on HsReplay). You can also Dust some of the niche ones that see play only in one deck or are just replaceable. In short leave the ones that are powerful in case you will ever want to have some fun in wild. Epics are basically the same. You can dust most of them, as epics tend to be mostly unplayed in wild. Just leave the most useful ones. I would not Dust rares and commons, because you would most likely not get a lot of dust from them.
Of course the second option is to just dust every wild card you have, but I guess if you wanted to do this you wouldn't have started this thread.
Yeah, I ended up finding all the Wild sets in my collection and am dusting them all now. So far, I've gotten around 31k duust from it. I'll be back in Ranked with a shiny new Warlock, Paladin and/or Mage deck in no time hahah
Side note; I did not know Demon Hunter was a thing. Will have to check it out 🤔
I've started dusting anything that clearly isn't any good in wild. I've actually dipped into wild and really enjoy it, so I'm glad I kept certain cards such as Zilliax.
I also personally quite enjoy duels, so I'll be keeping hold of most cards, particularly as I've now built up a pretty large dust bank and so am now moving towards just not dusting anything at all.
At 31k I think you're OK not dusting anything for now. Especially as the next expansion is due in a month, I wouldn't go balls deep into crafting a deck now. Old Guardian's YT channel always show cases cheap/budget decks, I'd recommend trying a few of these while you wait for the next expansion to drop. Already looks like the meta will change significantly.
It completely depends what classes you play me personally I only keep cards for 3 classes that way I am able to play 3 classes however I want In standard or wild without having to spend money on the game. If your buying packs and what not it’s safe to only dust cards that are bad and will never see play to matter what cards accompany them

Sometimes there may be a class you don't play now that you'll play in future. Esp if you get bored of same 3 classes!
Don't dust anything. With duplicate protection and reward packs and cards, it's easier than ever to be F2P. But if you really "need" the dust now, dust only enough to satisfy the immediate need. (Dusting cards to craft cards that you're going to dust next year is a fool's game.)
Try this: search for "owned:3+", and dust the cards you strongly suspect will never be nerfed, until you still have 2 copies.
Still need more dust? Search for "extra golden", and dust the cards you strongly suspect will never be nerfed.
Still need more dust? Then consult various guides about what legendaries are utter garbage (even in wild), and dust those.
Still need more dust? Really?

Go to the legendary tier list and crafting guide thread. Tells you what to dust and what is useful. There is also one for epic cards but it's out of date. https://www.hearthpwn.com/forums/hearthstone-general/card-discussion/205920-legendary-tier-list-crafting-guide
