I find my OTK DH the most challenging deck to successfully play. Trying to stay alive while compiling the four components (Il’gynoth, multiple Mo’arg Artificers, spell damage buff minions, and lifesteal attacks). Maximizing Skull and Felosophy effects. Calculating damage to face. Difficult deck to master. Very fun when you do 96 damage to face, though!
definitely otk rogue for me. having to juggle staying alive and the right time to discount your hand with octobots is really challenging, not the best deck but one with a very high skill ceiling. so many lines you can win a game. Challenging in this meta of aggro shaman, hunter and illucia though. Managed to stay around 3000 eu legend last month so its not the worst when you get good at it.
I am playing for many years and I believe OTK demon hunter is the hardest deck to master, the amount of different possibilities is crazy and you need to play all your card around the skull while trying to survive
Been playing for around 1 year, both standard and wild, and Dead Man's Hand Warrior is the most difficult deck I've played by far I think. Sure Darkglare Warlock or OTK Demon Hunter in standard are not the easiest decks to play, but they don't even come close to how complex DMH Warrior is to pilot.
Face hunter. Calculating lethal on turn 5 gets me going.
Absolutely: until my opponent has 5 or less health remaining, it's hard to count since I run out of fingers. I'd use my other hand, but I don't want to take my finger out of my nose...
People laughing at aggro decks. But aggro mirrors are definitely difficult to play
Laughing at face decks, not aggro. News flash: there is a difference. Not all aggro decks are face decks. And, I'm sorry, but face decks are not hard to play. (And, just for the record, seeing as how I play a lot of Odd Pally, I know that aggro decks are challenging to play.)

Must be really smart not going face with your aggro deck, eh?

I guess you're trying to be funny. Or snarky. Or whatever. Of course you have to go face. In case you haven't figured it out, at some point just about everyone goes face if they want to win. The difference is that face decks typically pay little to no attention to the board. They play cards like Leper Gnome or Wolfrider that are intended solely to deal damage to face. They almost never trade unless absolutely necessary. Aggro decks can and do seek board control, at least to some degree. Zoo decks, for example, do in fact seek to establish board control despite being aggro decks.
Must be really smart not to know there's a difference between the two, eh?
Midrange decks like deathrattle DH are easy, you just dump your cards on the board as they come, and slightly plan ahead for your 2 and 3 drops that summons cards from hand.
Other than that, I have literally no idea how to manage the DH resources, I'm clueless. When I play against DH it feels like a fun and powerful class. When I try to build my own DH deck I can't get over 30% winrate.
Also Patron warrior, Miracle rogue back in the days, and Toggwaggle druid right now. Any deck with high APM is big trouble for me, unless it's mage. Mage is EZ class.
I know the difference between aggro and face, but there are very few true face decks at least in wild. Even Hunter and odd dh come to mind, but even they have to play the games against aggro different since most wild aggro decks kill you way to fast too just race them from start. i do not understand why people claim mozaki to be difficult. Apm was difficult and still is (even more so since it’s bad now), but mozaki isn’t .
Odd demonhunter… it requires some knowledge on most decks on the ladder… do i go wide, or do i keep some minions in hand in case of a mass removal… turn 6 reno? Illidari studies for glide? What are the odds of drawing a specific card? Winchance etc… its aggro.. yes but im surprised it requires some thought

To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffer!
I agree no Kappa this statement is true because it requires you to hypothesize and anticipate what your opponent will do the following turns and the early turns matter way more than any other time
Ironically I find face decks harder to play than normal aggro decks, but that's more because i dislike the feel and play style of face decks I guess. Right now my decks are pretty easy mid range decks. I loved the challenge of Y'shaarj quest shaman during last expansion. There were so many ways to play and you had to pick the best path wisely every game.

secret mage
Wild darkglare, wild deck delete warlock and wild maly Hunter. Quite challenging at legend

Any DH deck, especially the aggro and combo ones.

I'm trying to play a C'thun rogue right now, it's pretty difficult.
Since the goal is to draw through your deck fast, I've found that hand space and resource management are key. (I am not yet very good at it)
I would imagine that any miracle or OTK type deck would be harder to play on average because of these things as well.
OTK Four Horsemen in Wild
