the blizzard hearthstone staff claim to be 4 expansions ahead at all times, how come they didn't see mage or paladin being this strong with that amount of power creep in the all spell package for mage and libram / secret for paladin?? and before that the demon hunter stuff...
everything seem rushed, bugged and untested... there simply is no way they are 4 expansions ahead
because... they are 4 expansions ahead ? So they couldn't focus on every detail of this expansion and figure out everything.
It's not like they break the entire game every 4 month, some nerfs needed here and there, probably less than 4 cards and that it's the game is balanced.
It's best to let the players be the beta testers then Blizzard just have to look at internal data and nerf anything that's too strong.
Still, weird times, people complaining about a deck that loses to aggro.
Demon Hunter is a different story it was made OP on purpose to sell more, basic stuff, every company does this.

They’re 4 expansions ahead but they’re designing this expansion to work with the next 2. Spell mage didn’t change much in strength so much as deck of lunacy got more consistent IF you build your deck a certain way and play a certain way. The only designed power increase came in the form of Refreshing Springwater which plugged a hole that previously existed in the deck. On top of that no matter how much you play test you’ll never be as efficient at catching things as having a million people playing for a few hours a day. This is something the trolls on this site forget.
They are 4 expansions ahead, that's why Paladin is so broken now.
In Year of the Dragon, Paladin was super shit, so decided to pump steroids in Paladin for the last whole year and this expansion - Librams in AoO, Hand of A'dal in SA, Weapon in DMF, secrets and draw in FIB.
Since they are 4 expansions ahead they can't stop and change the cards based on the meta. Paladin should have gotten meme cards for this expansion instead, it got the best set out of all class.
This isn't difficult for a reasonable adult to think through. They design hundreds of cards, a year ahead of where the game is, these cards will then also cross over with hundreds of others cards, come rotation. The actual number of card interactions that exist in this game blow my mind. Can you tell me how many there are? I assume you can seeing as it's so easy and you're so clever.
There are going to need to be a few adjustments here and there. They actually do a pretty damn good job with that considering the scale and thousands of card combinations that change every 4 months.
You clearly have a hard time grasping this though, OP. This doesn't require a thread. I don't know of a game that is added to constantly and doesn't require balances, bug fixes etc. The fact it is beyond your comprehension doesn't strike me as anything particularly special, I imagine there is a lot you're unreasonable about and lack the insight and competence to actually assess the situation and judge accordingly.
Basically you're the modern day equivalent of a villager with a torch and pitchfork, hounding what you suspect to be a witch. Those guys were absolutely sure they were right too and yet a 5 year can reflect back and see that they were just ignorant and lacked the awareness to look past the first emotional reaction they had in a situation.
People who aren't very bright are very often the most arrogant about how right they are. Be a little more humble, you'll mess up at work as well (if you even have a job). I'd be interested to know what you do, I am assuming it's something very clever, in a role you make no mistakes in and your company simply does not make any errors either. The devs are just people, man. They will be well intentioned and actually do a damn good job, card balance is a nightmare I won't claim to be able to pull off, I know for a fact there's not a chance I could get close to releasing a balanced game every 4 months. I get that they make mistakes but I'm not such a dick that I'll act like they are the only ones who do so.
You can't even put a forum post together without sloppy grammar and spelling. Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house....
