Afaik the classic version will be available for classic mode and the core set version will be available for Standard and Wild for all cards that share the same name.
Yes, if you have a classic card in your collection right now, this card will go in the legacy set (playable in wild format), and you will get another copy of it for the classic set (playable in classic format), with card text as it was in 2014.
I think that is why they reverted some classic nerfs life Starving Buzzard and Charge, to avoid having too many cards with the same name but different text in your collection. But there will still be some like the core and legacy Force of Nature that summons three 2/2, and the classic Force of Nature that summons three 2/2 with charge that die at the end of turn.
I have a related question regarding the classic bundles that are in offer today, if i buy those, will I get cards that only work in classic mode or will be available for wild/standard too? I.e if a Jaraxxus will I get both copies? The classic one and the standard one?

Actually, it's more accurate to say that the classic pack version will be available for both classic AND wild, but with functional changes, while the core set version will work only for wild and standard. I can play my Leeroy Jenkins in both classic and wild, each with a different mana cost. I don't remember but I'm pretty there's only ONE Leeroy in my collection, the card just adapt itself after you choose what format you'll be constructing the deck for.

From the text on an offer on the official shop:
"Add 20 Classic packs and 2 random Classic Legendary cards to your collection to be used in Wild format and the new Classic Format."
The version of Jaraxxus you use in Standard is part of the Core set and is not craftable or disenchantable, and above all, is FREE for everyone.

Right now I think the collection is still bugged, at least the filters. Before patch 20.0 if we filter for missing, the filter would count for golden and no golden, for example if you have one copy golden and one not golden of the same card would not count as missing and right now it does.
As for classic cards, it seems that those classic that are also in the core I think for wild the card that it will be used it will be the core version. At least with my Jaraxxus, If I filter for classic it shows the old one, if I filter for wild or standard it shows the new one.

Good morning, children.
Can someone explain to me how the collection works with Classic mode?
It seems that if you have the card in your collection at all, you have it in classic, but the text/stats/etc. have been altered.
Is this correct? Or were all "Classic" cards reverted to their original form regardless of game mode?
