I don’t think you’ll find a tidy answer to what you’re asking. Spending the gold seems to be the best answer if youve opened a lot of packs and you would spend money on the game anyway. You’re also likely to recoup most of that gold by April when the next expansion comes out. some people are less excited about the new cards themselves entirely and would suggest you just craft the ones you want and save your gold for later.
Unless you have an insane amount of packs it's definitely better to purchease the whole thing with 2k gold.
Unless you don't mind having all the cards obviously.
I had 20 packs saved. You need 32 packs to guarantee every single common and rare from the mini set. Which meant I needed to speen 1200 gold to have all of them. I would also open like 3 or 4 epics and 1 guaranteed legendaries but like 2 on average. Even if I got the one new epic and 2 of the new legendaries it still wasn't enough, so for me it definitely was worth spending the 800 extra gold to guarantee every single new card. As I said, unless you have an absurd amount of packs hoarded, like 70+ then it's just better to spend 2k gold to get everything. Not even sure how could you have some many packs saved tbh. Also even if that's the case you can't guarantee to get every new cards if you're still missing other cards from Darkmoon Faire.

Is it better to save 2000g for next expansion and buy the set at 20$? Or to spend 2000g in this set

I agree, it all depends on what you're playing, what you're looking for in the cards...
The value for 2000g and real money alike is really good if you like the cards contained and would make use of them.
