After you prep, nitroboost becomes zero, if you play another spell that cost more than zero nitroboost used to get corrupted. But now it doesnt. Scenario that happend to me:
Played prep + a random generated mage secret (1mana) with nitroboost in hand. And nitro didnt get corrupted.
Because the other spell you played in your first scenario was 2 mana or more. Prep is an aura effect for ALL spells, not a permanent card specific reduction.
So Nitroboost Poison doesn't cost 0 mana but still 1 for the sake of corrupting and you still need to play a 2+ mana spell - regardless of that spell's original cost. A 1 mana spell won't work.
Sure - but I have many times played prep + spymistress (1mana) and corrupted nitro. If what you say is true that shouldnt work either? - Or is it a spell only thing?
When you play another spell, it simultaneously changes the cost of nitro back to 1. If you play spymistress, the cost of nitro will still be zero and it will corrupt it. Play a 3 mana reduced spell however, will compare it to the cost of nitro after the effect of preparation already happened. Once you play that spell, nitro is no longer 0 mana, but 1 mana. It might appear to be zero mana for a second, but that’s only do to animation delay.
spymistress is a minion, so it corrupts the 0 mana poison, but if you play a spell instead of spymistress the mana cost of poison is back at 1, so it won't be corrupted by another spell that costs 1 mana (the prep effect is already used for the secret, so poison costs 1 again the moment you played the secret)

Does anyone know if this is a bug or a change?

Sweet - I see, now I understand the interaction. Thanks!
