For weeks straight now, player names have not been showing. It just says Your Opponent (for opponent name) and You (for my name). I tried reinstalling Hearthstone, but that didn't change a thing. I even reinstalled my PC (had to anyway), thus also reinstalled Hearthstone, but nothing. There was one time, a day orso before the Scholo XP release, that names showed for a couple of hours. As before, they have never showed again since. Ever since 2013 I've never had this issue until randomly some weeks ago. Is there anyone else with this problem?
EDIT: Once a game has finished, I can still look up the player name via menu -> Add Friends -> Last Played.
EDIT2: Thanks to T0ys0ldier13 the issue is now resolved. Apparently there's a streamer mode nowadays. Using a special key combo (CTRL+Shift+S) one can censor / uncensor player names.
I get periodic "Your Opponent" games, I don't think I've ever see myself as "You" - it usually happens if i had some sort of brief connectivity glitch.
There's no strict need, but it's nice and handy to know. Especially when often facing the same opponents. Not that I'm using it, but there's also Decktracker plugin(s) that track what deck(s) opponent played in previous matchups.

I would suggest contacting Blizzard support for these technical issues. They are in a better position to help you.

Thank you, this has been annoying me for weeks now.
CTRL + Shift + S worked for me
I sometimes face opponents with name: "Your Opponent"
now I wonder, does this mean my opponent has turned the streamer mode on, or is it just some network error and game couldnt load my opponent's name?
Aye, they have streamer mode activated
alright thanks for the answer ^^
If you turn on appear offline through Battle.net it will show your name as "Your Opponent" too.
