Come on, it was pretty obvious. Dh being the most powerful class in the whole entire game even after getting nerfed,nerfed,nerfed and nerfed, is soo unbelievably dumb.
I think dh could possibly finally become lesser used class.
blad the DH nerfs were obviously incoming it was too strong a class but we still need to fix the main problem. I play gala priest but am often outgunned by other decks. blizzard need to buff mage and priest and possibly paladin cuz.

That's because you play gala priest, not because you play priest in general. You could have massive elementals with rush, or a crazy wide board of demons, or ridiculous amounts of attack, or even lackeys. But instead you use the option that is a worse version of a single option of the raven idol.
Shaman = 2/1 elemental with rush = 1.5 mana effect
Warrior = 3 attack = 1.35 mana effect
Warlock = 2 1/1 demons = 1.1 mana effect
Rogue = Lackey = 1 mana effect
Priest = Random priest minion = 0.75 mana effect

Yes, it was obvious that the Demon Hunter base set was overtuned. It was not only obvious, but actually intended. Don’t be fooled and think these DH nerfs were spontaneous and unexpected - they were mapped out and planned ahead by the release of DH.
This was the only way. If you release a new class and keep the power level of their base set at the level of the other classes, it would be at a huge disadvantage due to missing historical sets that the other classes have access to. Therefore, the best approach was to overtune the base set, and as we get closer to a new expansion with more cards to bolster DH, slowly bring the power level of the base set down.

Priest needs a rework not a buff.Priest is more like discover-discover-discover-you lost!As for the mage lets hope that with the new expansion and new aggro-spell type of deck comes out so he can be top tier again.

I’m not sure what anyone expected here.
it makes sense but there should be line between too much and too little, like right now, many classes are underwheliming.
blizzard need to buff mage and priest and possibly paladin cuz.
no, definitely not and yes
Gala Priest already rolls into any match with about half their deck dedicated strictly to eliminating any sort of threat/board presence....add in your theft cards and you probably get at least 1 to 2 more high-impact/swing cards which your opponent has no way of playing around.
And I'm not even counting the possibility of even more removal options generated through Seth. Priest needs a rework, not a buff.
It's really difficult to balance a whole new class. I can tell you this, as a contestant of the custom class competition here. All of us make a whole 3 sets of cards, and even though we all spend a lot of time on balancing them, they would still have to be tested in an actual game. You can say that Blizzard has a lot of beta-testers, and that's true, but in fact it's not nearly enough. If you have ever played League of Legends (or the new Valorant) you may know the way Riot Games releases new champions. The company workers said themselves in an interview, that they always deliberatly make new champions too strong at first and then nerf them slowly in the following updates, because that way people will learn the combos and the whole new character faster. That way they will also gain more people interested in playing the new champ. Maybe Blizzard tried this strategy as well. It's definitely something new in Hearthstone, but not for Blizzard. They did the same in Overwatch and Heroes of The Storm a few times.
But it's also important to note the context of the several layers of nerfs that all the original classes had, they just had them across a long stretch of time.
Mages had a spell which meant you couldn't die, no matter what your opponent did, with zero counter-play. There wasn't any way to get an Ice Block to go away, other than to proc it.
Force of Nature + Savage Roar, when FON's treants had charge. 14 burst damage out of hand with nothing onboard, but if you had even a few tokens on board from last turn, it went up a lot. Maybe even add in Innervate (used to be +2 mana) and a second Savage Roar, for 22 damage out of hand from an empty board.
Warriors used to give charge to all sorts of minions for absurd burst combos, again without really requiring anything on board.
So all the broken stuff other classes did? It already got nerfed. DH comes along, broken as all the other stuff was at the beginning, and is pretty far out of balance with everything else, because everything else already got sorted.
You aren't wrong either but all changes were dong in long span of time, here comes DH with 15 nerfs with span of 3 months with life steal, card draws, impact cards on turn 5, board clear legendary that hits face, 0 mana echo card that activate key synergy cards and 6 mana ragnaros.

DH is still OP. Granted, it isn't quite as impossible to win against DH now but still. Also, the twin slice tweak was a buff. Not a nerf.

you forgot shaman
DH still should be the best deck to climb the ladder.

With the next expansion, dh will come back for sure!
