Yes, players who pay match with you, so in a sense you are providing "fodder" "gameplay" to those players who pay, so they will continue paying expansion after expansion. If all F2P players left HS from one day to another, the game would die, the people left (players who pay) would have to wait like 20 minutes to find a match, or match with lower/higher level players to play, just what happens in Warcraft 3.

Honestly, boycotting blizzard is probalby the most lame way to support HK. If anything push politicians to speak out against blizzard and China. And you can't boycott blizzard while playing their game

That is absolutely false. People who believe this have no number sense whatsoever.
It's just something f2p players like to tell themselves so they feel important.

Even Blitz "Ka Ching" is not boycotting HS (newsflash: he just signed with Tempo Storm).
I mean, professional hearthstone is what he's good at. It's how he makes a living. You shouldn't belittle him because he chose not to be homeless over his ideals. As for the op, whether or not you play Hearthstone isn't going to do anything for Hong Kong. If you really cared you wouldn't be here.
I really wanted to know other opinions because I may dont see the harm in playing but I may be wrong. Dont see how that is stupid and for sure did not do it for the attentions... Dont even see why you should think that. Sometimes this world seem strange (how can you get 3 upvotes for that comment) but well..maybe its because i'm a little autistic.
No, you are just as bad as Blizzard and China as an oppressor of the Hong Kong people, their salvation weeps every time you log into Hearthstone. You should uninstall, but send me your account information first, no point wasting that sweet collection!

Well that the idea, let me be clear im against the Chinese government and for the protesters of Honk Kong.
Get the idea that the Chinese government propaganda is here too...maybe thats where the comment about me seeking attention come from..
That's not how it works. You can't quantify moral support. It's like people who take lots of overseas trips and think paying some money to a charity levels off their "Carbon Debt". Either you support a free Hong Kong or you don't, and you let your own actions reflect that.
Do I still not support free Hong Kong when I play headstone but not buy anything?
*with real money
I supporting Free Hong Kong with all I can, bu I also love to play hearstone, yes I still do..
Thats how I see it too :), happy with this reply. (just wondering how the rest see this)

mmm both solid points 1-1 , let see ...:P
Do I get attention when I post a stupid thread?

Clearly you're seeking attention by posting a stupid comment.
boycotting Blizzard doesn't change anything for Hong Kong
clearly
Well it influence other companies to not suck Chinese balls + boycotting them is good for gamers more than Honk Kong protestors.

b..b..b...but he's our martyr! Who else will I use as a figurehead so I can project my disgruntled fandom?
I can only hope that Blizzard announces another mobile game, so I can feign outrage on the internet.
I don't see a point in "boycotting " company as large as Blizzard. But u do u mate. If u like something than play it.
Honestly, most people here can't even point fucking HK on a globe, they are only caring because of all the drama and neoliberal and ancap/incel crap.
And I'm not even pointing out the whole actual geopolitical problem that region has or the US influence on all that.
People should stop pretending companies are the problem since, guess what, THEY MAKE THEIR OWN RULES!
