Is it true that once you reach a ran floor you cannot face weaker opponents, no matter how many games you lose? I am just trying to complete one win game as priest or paladin quest, but no matter how many times I lose I still can't get matched against an opponent I can beat. Rank 10.
I hate rank floors because sometimes I climb with a strong deck but quickly grow to resent is as usually the gameplay is the same every single match and then when I try with a fun homebrew deck, I'm stuck facing the same aggro decks that linger around 10-5-legend. I think it was a stupid decision, they should make it so only legend players start at like rank 5 or something
The later it goes into the season the more weak players will filter down to the better ranks, because the stronger players mostly hit legend as the season goes on. Therefore no, it is not true that you can no longer play weaker players at a rank floor, they will find themselves there when everyone else moves to the next rank floor.

This an accurate statement. There's another factor at play though which is less straightforward. Some of the less skilled players who cannot win at the rank floors stop playing which makes the overall player pool stronger. When given the ability to rank down, these players are less likely to "give up" as they eventually find winnable matchups. Although yes as the month progresses the lesser players are eventually able to move forward if they are playing.
Personally I prefer the flexibility of being able to rank down over rank floors. Though I'm not bothered by ranking down since I know I'll be able to rank up fairly easily later once the better players have ranked up.
Usually players at the bottom tier of their rank are playing with meme decks and stuff so you can usually just get an easy w. Otherwise, play against a friend and have them lose to you.
In my experience the rank floors have a lot of people playing weaker decks as they are not worried about losing, so just keep queueing up until you find one. There will be plenty of players like yourself that are no longer playing top tier decks sitting on the rank floor. The more you lose the lower your hidden rank (don't remember what it is called, but it is the one they use to actually match you up) becomes, and the more likely you are to get matched up against weaker decks.

This. I hit a rank floor then usually play derpy stuff to chill, before trying to push again. I think you have a hidden Matchmaking Rating/Rank (MMR).

There is no MMR in ranked until you reach Legend. You are matched against others at or near your rank, period. The longer it takes to find a match, the wider the range disparity the game allows.

Try casual.
actually people of your skill level hit the same rank and as such the same rank floor. you're probably just getting unlucky
That's Incredible!

You can always do your quests in tavern brawl or arena... Else just reroll the quest if you seriously cannot win with that class...

If it is a quest, it can be done on casual, and you will get easier opponents the more you lose.
