I'm thinking about dusting all my gold extra cards for some dust, about 8k in total, I like having golden cards, but I don't know if I should have the luxury of that if I want to play standard AND wild, since I have to craft so many cards(although my collection is already kind of nice), and if I do waste money on hearthstone, it is only on pre purchases of expansions. So, what do you guys think? Should I hold on to them and earn my dust with time, or just dust them all and craft what I want?
I dust the golden meh cards, but keep every golden card that I want to put in a deck, or that I often pick in arena. What can I say, I like my shinies. Many of my decks are about 1/4-1/3 golden cards now, at it does make the game more fun for me.
I did dust some 300-400 bad wild-only cards to craft SoU stuff, though.
If you have something in mind, dust it.. i dusted all my golden cards and crafted a lot of legendaries and epics i didnt have, so yeah, totally worth it.. but dust it on demand, saving the ones you play, if youre not in need of the dust..

I recently dusted all mine because I only got 3 legendaries from my SoU packs, and I was depressed about having nocards.
I got 5500 dust from my standard goldens.
Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.
Dust the unplayable ones, and keep the ones that you play :)
i'm arena only player i keep all my goldens it's not worth disenchanting
Yes you should, I would if I could
Dead but dreaming
I never keep any golden card that I already have its normal version... At least for me it’s pointless
You will spend more money if you don't.
Dust them and regret it later.
Thats what happend to people who ask this question.
You care about gold: -)

I dust everything golden that I already have 2 normal copies of.
But if I'm missing a normal version of a card, even if it's not a very good one, and only have the golden version of it in my collection - I keep it.
i dischenchant all my golden except my mecacthun
If you don't value the golden aspect of a card, there's no reason to keep it.
The amount of extra dust you get isn't amazing, but you may be able to craft about one extra legendary per expansion this way.

Yeah, a toast!
Just dusted a ton of gold cards and was able to get 3 legendary cards too.
My cards May not look as shiny, but I have more deck types now.
Only peasants dust all of their golden cards. True ogs have all golden decks
I only dust golden cards that are nerfed... otherwise i keep them :D

Dust em' all if you have two normal copies.
if you dont need the dust keep the cards in case of a nerf...
