Don't come back, the ladder is as stupid as it was in previous seasons when we hade jade druids and stuff.
Now 60% of the decks are mech hunters, 30% are bomb/mech warriors. They are almost unbeatable. Good luck fighting them.
No, both Mech Hunter and Bomb Warrior are beatable, especially Mech Hunter. Even if meta is shit now, the new expansion will be announced soon and that is the best time to play HS, so idk why are you telling him to not comeback.
How is ladder right now? I did played the first initial days of the new expansion but dropped.
Is Mage tier 1? Are the same decks being played yet?
Welcome back! The meta is currently pretty stable, however Hunter is particularly popular due to its cheapness and effective decks. This is in part (I believe) because a lot less players invested in pre-purchase packs etc, so the legendary cards are fewer in general across the board, so it is easier to build the cheap decks like hunter. Don't be put off by the usual naysayers. Mage is not Tier 1, but Conjurer's Calling Mage is pretty strong, if a little high-roll. Best thing to do is scope out some of the decks here on the site, find one you can play and looks interesting. And have fun! :-)
