Everyone is talking about nerfing cards...nerf rogue, nerf warrior, nerf elysiana. I don't know if people think forward.
About rogue: rogue was top meta, because in the beginning of the expansion pirate/lackey rogue was the most obvious deck to play with control warrrior. Ranked was flooded with rogues, but now ? At rank 5-2 I met 3 rogues and it were nice matches. For me personally, matchup with bomb hunter is much more uncomfortable. Another thing, if you nerf rogue, then I'm scared that there will be less counters to khadgar mage, which is just pain in the ass to play against, if he has giant on turn 3 or 4. So if it's needed to nerf rogue, nerf conjurers calling as well.
About elysiana: everyone is suggesting to increase mana to 9 or 10, so she can't be bounced back. But then the king of fatigue would become shaman with his Shuddercock. Then I would suggest to change battlecry to deathrattle, something like: Give a spell to your hand (spell with effect of elysiana). So it can be silenced and shuddercock doesn't give another 10 cards to your deck.
I didn't want to say that nerfs aren't needed, but that people think nerfing cards is ez pz. It needs a lot of thinking of what would become the meta after nerfs and if it would be better or worse than we have right now.

I don't want to justify all the nerfing threads that are popping up these days, but that's why the Devs are paid: yeah, balancing a meta requires a lot of effort, but it's their job.
Other than that, I agree with you: people just think about the surface of the problem, coming up with (mostly) crappy solutions and without realizing that you have to predict the following meta too.
Yes rogue is the Problem But turn 4 double 8 drops is not LOL you people really don't have clue what to Nerf cause there is plenty of Nerf decks to go around
Played this morning for 3 hours 15 games 7 were rogue, 6 control Warrior, 1 mech hunter and randomly 1 priest.
I was actually against nerfs at first but can honestly say hearthstone is the most boring it’s ever been. I can agree with Conjurers calling being nerfed (maybe not a twinspell) but warrior and rogue both need it before blizzard loose even more of there player base
Yes I would nerf rogue, I would nerf warrior, but I would make a lot of others cosmetic nerfs like conjurers calling, hunters face bombs and even like chef nomi, because when you nerf good tempo decks, decks with nomi, mechathun and other solitaire decks would become top tier and the game would be more boring.
But nerfing is losing money, and activision doesn't like to lose money.
I am quite happy with HS right now, but good nerfs might help to make it even better for me :)
People will always complain about deck which are currently at the top of the viability. Always. And its impossible to make it so each and every deck has equal chance of winning.
also, just because you lost to a particular card, doesn't mean it needs a nerf.
FWIW - none of the sites which track the game are posting data which would support any nerfs for "power level" reasons. While VS has Tempo Rogue at the top of their tier lists, the deck's win-rate is among the lowest the site has ever tracked for "best deck." HSReplays, in contrast, has Tempo Rogue squarely in the middle of Tier 2 - VS records only a fraction of the games HSReplays tracks, and lacks any data at all for the deck HSReplays currently ranks as best on ladder.
There are plenty of considerations for "quality of life" nerfs - but there always are. QoL nerfs are a matter of taste - however, it's likely that the devs will prioritize "play-rate" nerfs over all others. Tempo Rogue is played more than twice as often as the next-most-popular deck, despite its otherwise good-but-not-great performance on ladder. It's also warping Specialist format, which is a further consideration - while the tournament meta-game has always been somewhat different from ladder, the new competitive format has exaggerated those differences considerably. How do the devs handle problematic cards in eSports that aren't honestly problematic on ladder? Needless to say, there aren't any correct answers to any of this, though the devs will likely steer the course of least resistance. It will be interesting to see what happens . . .
Surprise, people are overreacting idiots. And the worst part is it keeps working time after time
Surprise, you're an un-acting idiot, and the worst part is that you have somehow convinced yourself that you have some compelling excuse to keep breathing.
Well you say a mana raise on Elysiana would give Shaman the edge but I doubt that. The only reason warrior gets away with fatiguing you out on a consistent basis is because they have near endless removal and a mountain of armour. Shaman doesn't have access to that and besides, why would they even play the card? They only reason a Shaman would even play it in the first place at all is precisely BECAUSE Warriors play it. Raise the mana cost and I say the problem is nearly solved aside from some fringe situations.
Dr Boom Mad Genius was not an issue when the other Hero Cards where still in Standard. Now they've gone he's the big bad? If you guys think HoF'ing Dr Boom is the way to go then you have to ask for the same treatment for Hagatha and Zul'jin. Right?
Because without Dr Boom then Zul'jin will be 'broken' and Hagatha the same. Either that or we'll have a ground swell of players complaining that they don't have a Hero Card at all.
Let's not pretend we all know about how to balance a CCG. Because we don't. We also don't know what Blizzard have in store for the next two Expansions.
I'm not saying that Blizzard have it correct at the moment, but I'm also sure that it's not an easy job predicting what Millions of players will come up with.
Nerfs are on the way for sure. But I don't think that some of these Nerfs people are calling for are necessary.

I would like to know, what you think about it.
Why would you think ahead? When you can always demand more nerfs after? :D *sarcasm*

Why do warrior needs a nerf ? Its the only control deck you can play, without dying to aggro/burst damage.

I saw thread about nerfing hunters ,,tracking,, and the ,,coin,,. So we hitted rockbottom :P

Evil Miscreant -> 4 mana
Preparation -> next spell costs 2 less.
Boom mad Genius -> HOF
Dyn-o-matic - 6 mana
conjurers calling -> 4 mana
Archivist Elysiana -> 9 mana
Zilliax -> 6 mana
