Hello I'm a fairly new player to Hearthstone and trying to be as F2P as possible.
I saw that there are some good and cheap decks for Murloc Shaman and Token Druid this expansion.
I've crafted a cheap Token Druid deck so far about 2k in dust and I'm enjoying it. Saw that I could also build a good Murloc deck for about 3k dust.
Debating if its worth it for me to build the Murloc deck. Anyone think its good to have both? I feel like they are both aggro decks, but maybe Murlocs scratch a different itch or would it basically be about the same as the Token Druid deck.
Do you think in later expansions Token Druid or Murlocs will get more support?
I'd stick with token druid. Between the 2 it's more fun and because of druid's ability to make sticky boards and consistently buff them numerous ways I think it's overall better than murloc shaman who can be stuck waiting for bloodlust a lot of the time. I also think between the 2 it has a better late game plan as well. If you haven't already I'd take my dust and craft Keeper Stalladris because he can add so much value to the deck in the form of tokens and buffs.
Token druid. I was playing control lock and kept getting beat by it no matter how much board wipe removal I was playing. I threw the deck together and started it playing it. It was easily crushing murlock shaman. The deck is really strong right now.
Token druid is disgustingly strong. I just went rank 15 to 5 with only 3 losses. You just need Stalladris and Vargoth. I didn't bother crafting two Crystalsong Portal. Used two Force of Nature and two Dendrologist instead and it worked great.
They're both kind of similar. Go wide, punish with buffs. Murloc fights for the board early better (especially the thunderhead version) but token druid has more gas and more burst.
Token druid is the stronger deck but it's pretty close. If you really like board flood aggro decks murloc is fun to play. I really enjoy the Thunderhead version and it doesn't run any legendaries (only epics are 2x thunderhead and 2x warleader.
