Is there a legendary that seems powerful prerelease and had been underperforming ? My guess would be kadgar, kelegos and rafaam hagatha seems pretty weak in control shaman usually useless spells that does nothing
In my experience Khadgar can singlehandedly win you the game consistently. I have him in a deck with Kalecgos and I never even get to play kalecgos because i've won or lost before I get the chance. Rafaam is really really good as well. It's a good counter to bomb warrior and its a good counter to other control decks, minus control shaman which never runs out of !@#$ing removal. People talk crap on Hagatha but every game I've lost to control Shaman has been because of that stupid card high rolling good spells. I don't know about legendaries over performing but there are quite a few doing better than a lot of people predicted.
Kalcegos is without a doubt a serious strong card. Mages biggest issue is that they don't have the tools to reach turn 10 - and burn mage is just better atm.

Yeah Mage lost it's best removal tools with the rotation. I think you'll see the class as a whole move to a more midrangey style with the summon package. Burn mage is only really good right now because of all of the experimenting going on, I see it falling hard once the meta slows down with the rise of control warrior and Shaman.

I remember people saying Blastmaster Boom was bad before expansion release, I bet they feel dumb now.
