It's really hard to say. Heal Druid as an archtype MIGHT be dead in the water right now, but Crystal Stag is easy to activate for a pretty solid payoff. On top of that you don't need a lot of heal cards to get value out of Lucentbark. It might end up that you can just slot these 2 cards into something like a token druid deck for some late game potential. Not likely, but possible. I got both Druid legendaries and I'm gonna experiment.
I have no idea if the heal druid thing is going to work out in the long run but im trying it out a little bit atm and it feel like there are easily 4-6 flexible slots in there depending on your style. I have the 3 mana buffing twinspell as a one off atm, which is quite slow and probably the first cut, if i had lucent i would throw it in there because healing boards with potion vendor actually works fairly well it seems.
At the least, keep it for playing around. 5 for 8/8 rush stats is really solid by any standards. Especially since there are so many ways to trigger the healing( Potion Vendor FTW on this) . Druid is good at having a fleet of things that need a quick heal... so this would be an extremely easy condition to fill.
don't dust anything yet, it's day one. I remember a guide hearthpwn posted after boomsday put "Zerek's Cloning Gallery" in the "dust it" category, and that turned out to be very very wrong.
Everyone seems to have this guy on their pre-expansion wishlists, but I think he's going to be trash tier. 3 main reasons:
1. Any high-cost minion that does not immediately affect the board and is hard countered by silence/poly has sucked
2. Heal druid needs a bit more support to be viable. Note that this will likely come over the next few expansions, which might make this legendary rise in value.
3. If you are playing heal druid, the opponent knows this and knows Lucentbark is coming, so they'll save their silence/poly for it. See point #1.
That being said, I would never, ever D/E him, because of point #2. If Blizzard pushes the archetype in future expansions (and I have to think they will), he may become viable and a staple in the archetype. Crystal Stag definitely seems good enough that it should see play at some point.
Do note that if there ever comes a way to copy this guy on the board reliably, his value will go through the roof.
Similar to why Da Undatakah sees no play is the weakness to Silence :/
Da Undatakah sees little play because he has no place in most deathrattle decks where the deathrattles he copies can be inconsistent and largely don't make up for his statline. It has nothing to do with silence. Even when deathrattles are a big deal most decks only run 1 silence. In the current meta there really isn't a lot of good silence targets beyond taunts so you'll probably see some aggro decks run 1 to push face damage but beyond that I doubt it'll be prevalent. Druid has a lot of ways to copy lucentbark or reduce his cost. Really it's not silence that will hold him back so much as fitting him into a deck/strategy
User Ogemaniac it up well in another thread. "The synergies are too weak, too hard to activate, too contradictory (heal early for stag, save it for Lucentbark), and too easy to counter. Disappointed."
Wait at least 2 weeks and see. After 2 weeks 90% of the decks will be defined, propably at the end some new deck will appear, but these 2 weeks should be enough to evaluate
I got a druid down to 1 health, but he came back hard with the lucentbark / copying shenanigans. I don't think it's so bad. The stags were integral to his survival.
Lucentbark can always be cloned. Got to play against 4 today at the same time on board, all revivig every 5 health. Seemed pretty good
I've played against 4 x Lucentbark on the same board from my opponent today as well. And I won, after clearing his board just twice (2x Mass Hysteria). He simply had no more heal effects to gain value. That was a pretty miserable sight, 4 dormant Lucentbark for like 3 turns... And this, right there, is the biggest problem of the archetype right now. You want to pump out those heals ealry to activate your Crystal Stag, and later, after putting all this work in to getting 4 x Lucentbark, you are out of heals. You need a lot of heal in your deck to make it worthwhile, which lowers the overall power of your deck quite significantly.
But, as others have pointed out, NEVER EVER DISENCHANT LEGENDARIES, because more support will come later, eventually.
this was my golden legend from preorder. Not shure if i shall dust it. You can construct a deck around him and it´s good in a healing druid so if you play druid i would keep or even craft him.
Play this card. Even if it dies, you play Da Undatakah, and it dies, you get a board full of big minions just for healing up. It's no The Darkness which didn't seem to be played much, or Sherazin, Corpse Flower which was decent in the early ungoro meta but too slow after that.
It's big and has taunt. Things with taunt get silenced. Undatakah combo is another option. There is also Floop and Gloop sprayer.
Building around it as a top end defense or offensive build could make tempo druid decent. They have the heals, Crystal Stag is insane.
There is certainly a strong build out there I think.

Opinions on this guy? I barely ever play Druid but I opened a Crystal Stag later so this has to be a sign right? xd
For real, dust or not?

The existence of Silence/Poly have never stopped deathrattles from being good.

Crystal Power + Crystal Stag I am running in a token deck and it‘s decent and can give you a nice tempo swing.

i have played this deck and ye silence is annoying to deal with but i can combo it with flobb
