so basically just use twig to get crystals for aviana then get a bunch of vargoths with double effect and naturalize ur aviana or an opponent's minion (u could also use gloop sprayer/ixlid)
could be a fun thing to try out and see what happens until this expansion comes
So you mill up to 16 cards, which is pretty strong... But you need an eight card (seven in hand) combo to pull it off! That's quite a tall order. Should be fun, though, and it will surely leave your opponent bamboozled.

ye its very difficult to do not very viable to do at all but something fun to experiment with i wanna try it dont have the cards tho rip
Well, first I think an 8 card combo plus the weapon is never going to happen. Your opponent would need to have a bunch of minions on deck too because 8 random naturalizes will probably destroy your Vargoths before one whole cycle.
Worst case scenario is your opponent draws 10 cards if the interface stops end of turn effects when the minion is killed.
Best case scenario if end of turn chain is not broken when a minion dies is your opponent draws 18 cards.
OTK fatigue is 8 cards drawn for 36 damage.
Opponent would need less than 3 cards in deck for guaranteed OTK (worst case scenario).
A miracle situation could OTK the opponent with 10 or fewer cards in deck. Exceptions are excessive armor, Amarna, or immunity secrets.
I'll reiterate however, an 8 +1 card combo would never work against a real opponent.
I think this sort of Mill strategy with Archmage Vargoth will be more consistent with Mage after Time Warp. On your first extra turn you play a Molten Reflection, giving you 4 x Vargoth. On your second turn you play Violet Illusionist and 2 x Research Project, drawing 4 cards immediately and then another 8 via Vargoths, giving you a 13 card draw (the extra one is when your opponent's turn starts).
Edit: I have now been playing this in Wild and I cut one Research Project (you can play it earlier in the game to draw yourself some cards and Mill your opponent) and added Drakkari Enchanter to my second extra turn for a total of 16 cards drawn via Vargoths. Super fun!
The problem is it takes too long and requires gathering six cards for a TTK really. In the turns leading up to playing Thaurissan for the discounts I'm just getting wrecked. Trying to not use resurrection spells as I want to guarantee Mind Blast is the only spell cast that turn.
I think my goal is going to be removing a Mirage Caller from the combo and trying to just get 2 cards discounted. In that game plan I'd have to push some face damage through the game and can do the burst combo for 25 damage after the discounts. I had a similar Malygos Warlock that after 1 tick on four cards could Malygos, 2x Darkbomb, and Soulfire for a 25 face damage burst. So yeah, maybe a Tempo oriented Priest deck with big burst to finish?!?!
Aviana + Twig of the World Tree's deathrattle + Archmage Vargoth + Flobbidinous Floop + Faceless Manipulator + Faceless Manipulator + Drakkari Enchanter + Naturalize

Great theorycraft but extremely difficult to pull off.
Take a video if you do.
Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.

Your vargoths will kill your own vargoths, so your combo will never be 100%, change naturalize for swipe, and bang!

I'm trying to work out an OTK with Vargoth in Wild Priest. I know how to do a 35 damage turn (Archmage Vargoth, 2x Mirage Caller on Vargoth, Drakkari Enchanter, Mind Blast), however to do it you need a tick from Emperor Thaurissan on each card and at least 6 open board slots.
