I remember and lived through (and profited from) Quest Rogue, and Pirate Warrior, and Jade Druid (among others).
So, what will be the OP deck I need to craft to quickly climb up before everyone else figures it out and the whole ladder devolves into mirror world for a while?

Out of curiosity I have to ask: what was your profit from playing these decks? A legend cardback? A quick rank 5? An invitation for a championship? Some real cash? Or just the excitement of stomping everyone else who is not playing the strongest deck of the current meta?
In my case, yes, a quick rank 5 in all three cases. Given I usually don't play enough games to get past 15, it is always a bit thrilling even if I know I'm simply taking advantage of reading sites like this and watching the occasional strategy video. Something I would think everyone could do, but seems like not as many folks as I would think.

I know that some people has a very limited time to play HS so I understand your desire to play the absolute best deck, but if someone doesnt play the deck it doesnt mean they dont do their research, maybe they just dont enjoy playing that deck and it gives them more enjoyment to beat the deck instead of playing it.
On topic, before release, before testing no one knows what will be the best deck, we can just make some guesses. On launch day aggro is always good because it punishes the greedy experiments. Some other folks are playing anti-aggro decks and have a great success with climbing.
Deck: Secret Paladin, Murloc Shaman or other bullshit, wait 1 or 2 days to see which of the three are the most OP brainless deck.
Aggro does not equal OP. Or brainless. It's an Archetype that is required In all CCG's. It's as much a part as Combo, Control, Tempo, Midrange etc. Let's not forget that the idea of any CCG is to kill your opponent. Just because it takes Control and Combo a long time to win doesn't make them 'superior' to Aggro or Tempo (which is the same thing by the way)
And a good Aggro vs Aggro Matchup is as good to watch, if not better, than any other Matchup.

Oh all players know that to playing a brainless deck is the best for ranking faster the first days of the x-pac, It is just that for normal people It just doesnt worth It. Experimenting the first week is the best time in HS.

The first few days - something aggro. After a week or so - rogue and counters to rogue. Prove me wrong please.

Control Warrior. With all the death knights rotating and the new mech discover pool, Control Warrior is gonna be very strong.
Agree. I'm not saying it as a complain, this is just my analysis.
CW will hold the first place for being the best anti-aggro deck. The cheap defensive tools (Execute, Shield Slam, Warpath, Brawl, Smolderthorn Lancer, Dyn-o-matic, Supercollider) will help the class survive and thrive. Baku the Mooneater is out of the picture, but control warrior can still use the good ol' Armorsmith, Acolyte of Pain shenanigans. Weapons Project is a more flexible ooze - it destroys your opponent's weapon (granted, if they had one beforehand) and gives you some ways to deal with their cheap minions. If you are playing behind taunts and facing a burn deck, the armour is persistent. And I'm not going to talk about the power of the Dr. Boom, Mad Genius, that grants warriors a huge advantage over other slow builds.
The new mechs are pretty good as well. Hecklebot and the Omega Devastator will be played to bring the opponent closer to fatigue and to deal with beefy minions. And the Archivist delays the fatigue.
The only question is what type of control warrior we will see more often. Will it be the pure mech deck or a mech-dragon hybrid?
That said, if Plot Twist enables a Dead Man's Hand interaction with Augmented Elekk, I will happily counter control warrios with infinite value warlock. Still, early-game defensive tools won't be our strength anymore.

Being a big CW Fan since the early days my first choice is going to be a Dragon-Mech Hybrid. So many good Control tools still in the game (as was mentioned earlier) and with the Discover Pool going up a Notch from cards like Omega Assembly and Dr Boom,Mad Genius then it's just getting better.
And having cards like Crowd Roaster, Smolderthorn Lancer and Dragonmaw Scorcher in the Dragons Pool just makes ignoring those cards an impossibility for me. The only question is how do i fit everything in a 30 card deck?
I see a lot of board flooding aggro types looking very strong. This can actually bring control warrior to the top as it is maybe the only class that can reliable withstand it.

Face rogue check all boxes for me for now.
You have good draw, cheap minions, powerful weapons and finishing plays very strong.
I will try and after that (I get tired of hyper aggro soon) I will try very hard to make tempo mage works like old days.
Type: Aggro of course, as always.

I'm sorry for my bad english :D

Alot of face decks that much I can tell you
Tempo Mage looks busted again with the baby flamewaker
Mecha'thun OTK's and Priest OTKs are still possible so those will still be around
Kripp said Bomb Warrior is super good like 50 times on stream today!
