Whizbang's Workshop Set Cards List & Guide
So, i know that Genn is going in the HoF and i was wondering, is it worth crafting a golden Genn just for that reason?
Yes, unless you dont want a free legendary.
.
Obviously, you get the dust back, so it's a win/win
Yes, you should.
So you get the dust even if you don't disenchant?

That is correct. Only for the copies you are allowed to play, and the most expensive version.
You craft now, after new year release Blizz gives you full refund for that, that's mean free cards anyway and you can do whatever you want DE for 400/1600 dust or keep the card.
I knew you got full dust value but never realized you got dust if you didn't disenchant 🤦♂️
If you don't have a copy now, craft a golden copy.
When year of the dragon kicks in, you get to keep the golden copy + free 3200 dust. This means the crafted golden copy is free.
Then, you can decide to DE the golden copy for 1600 dust, which will be your net dust gain.
Likewise, the same logic can be applied for the non-golden copy.
However, make sure you don't craft both copies because Blizzard only pays you dust based on golden copies as priority.
What if i own a non-golden copy of genn. Would it be profitable if i craft another golden genn?
It's a no-brainer craft
