It was over rated plain and simple. Yes it got strong cards, but the class already had strong cards that were arguably stronger than the ones it got. So while druid is obviously a powerful class I don't feel like it's power can spike much higher than it already is. A 4 mana sprint that tutors is insane but it's not as insane as Ultimate Infestation, likewise Floop is insane but whether it's better than Twig is up for debate and more or less depends on the meta. Florist and Togwaggle seem strong but can be countered by control lock and aggro.
It's simple: decks are unrefined. Zoolock FEASTS on unrefined decks (because it's probably the most refined deck out there). And Druid is quite weak against it. So yes, Druidstone might still happen when decks become more refined and zoo is no longer as strong as it is now.
Druid is only really prevalent in Wild at the moment but I am pretty sure it'll pick up in standard as well :3

Wasn´t everyone crying about druidstone when the expansion will come out? It´s just how i thought it will be...
Zoolock is pretty much the best deck and Evenlock is high Tier 2...
ppl should stop calling out something so early.
Isn't giving Zoolock & Evenlock tier status in the new meta, as well as challenging the potential of combo druid taking a higher tier status also making early calls?

Warlock had already one of the best Control/Aggro tools... it´s not like the new Warlock cards aren´t insane.
Also Zoolock WILL stay insane just because it was insane before the expansion and with the expansion the deck got more burst potential... especially because Boomsday Project had very few control tools.
Just tech against zoo and go into ladder right before you hit the next win or get a win streak
The problem about Zoolock is how extremly consistent the deck is... bad mulligan doesn´t really mean something since u have so much draw and insane combos like "Soul Infusion into Saronite Chaingang / Doubling Imp" or a simple Turn 1/2 Keleseth.
Even Big Spell Mage, Odd Warrior and Control Warlock have problems to deal with the burst.
Zoolock is dominating because the only way of beating Druids and the stupid amount of combo decks is SMORCing as fast as you can.
This has been the worst expansion first week I've ever seen.
Zoolock has actually a pretty good winrate against his worst matchups. I´m pretty sure Warlock will stay above Druid in terms of the best class deck... just because Warlock was already better than Druid and with the new cards Warlock got their existing archetyp´s just became even stronger... while Druid didn´t really got amazing board control tools (Druid should have enough tho)
I personally think flobbidinous Floop is making druid deck way weaker to agro and its making them lose easier. Maybe its just better to play that 7 mana 4/4 reduce cost by 7?
You really thought that in first week of expansion you will have druid spam? You are joking right? In each DLC that came out people always played zoolock because they know that some are going to test their new decks(especially lot of people try that Mecha C'thun) and they have higher chance to reach up legend in short time. Wait till meta stabilizes and new decks will start to displace other ones. If there will be many decks with many massive removals your zoolock will once again die and then we will see Shudderwocks and Malygos decks I bet....
With Shudderwock I reached rank 5 three days ago. I changed only one card: Lightning Bolt out -> Seaforium Bomber in. Works pretty awesome against decks that want to draw all of their cards like Mecha'thun, or against high armor decks that Lifedrinker just can't drain.
The Zoolocks I faced were pretty decent and from what I remember it was a pretty even matchup. Sometimes I lost because they were too fast, sometimes they gave up because I had enough healing and board control.
The thing is: I saw very little experimenting. Sure, there was a Magnetic paladin, a few Mecha'thun warlocks and druids and even a priest and one or two Hopper rogues but most of the time I faced BS Mages, Zoolock and Malygos or Taunt druid.
It feels like the meta from Witchwood is still there, only with a few upgrades. I mean, I play Shudderwock, a Witchwood deck, myself. I AM part of the problem. But why should I play decks that are strictly worse?
The same goes for Wild. Got rank 5 early in the morning today (greetings from Germany, it's midday here right now). I played with Glinda Gennlock, a deck I reached rank 5 with in June before. The new cards have had little to no impact in Wild, too. There wasn't a deck I haven't seen in Witchwood meta before. I didn't even see the ZilliaxMechwarperGlinda Crowskin Combo I was so hyped about.
I don't think, druid is weak. Nor is Zoolock. I just think the meta needs time for new decks to rise. Testing is not something that's done with two games. Give it two or three weeks. Maybe Zoolock stays a Tier 1 deck. Maybe not. It's too early to decide that.
If you have a deck that beats the old ones and the new experiments, awesome for you. Use it to ladder up as long as it's possible. Who knows if your deck will be good enough to do that in 2 weeks?

Your sound pretty dumb. Give it time its only been 3 days, Druid will definently get its spotlight.
Druid won´t get much better as long Zoolock is a thing.

I'm rolling Zoo's as Maly Druid
Veni Vidi Vici

Give people a week or two to optimize their decks and if Zoolock WR won't decrease Blizz probably nerf it.
Are you people thick? Druid has 2 decks in the current top 5 winrate %
Also pretty much every streamer I see talk about the new expansion says Druid got the best cards and is OP again.
Don't worry they're coming for you...
More seriously, I agree with you, most predictions are just Cristal ball trash and not worth reading...
But Droods are strong...
But not to the point of ruling the world...
Just tech against zoo and go into ladder right before you hit the next rank or get a win streak
I exist, I think.

Yea druids ARE strong but still not good enough to be "T1" or as predicted by many players "God Tier" (actually by whole Hearthstone Reddit).
The problem about Zoolock is how extremly consistent the deck is... bad mulligan doesn´t really mean something since u have so much draw and insane combos like "Soul Infusion into Saronite Chaingang / Doubling Imp" or a simple Turn 1/2 Keleseth.

Biology Project kinda sucks against some matchups, Dreampetal Florist has great value but it´s pretty bad against aggro, Flobbidinous Floop strong but bad against aggro, Juicy Psychmelon isn´t really that good in standard.
I personally think flobbidinous Floop is making druid deck way weaker to agro and its making them lose easier. Maybe its just better to play that 7 mana 4/4 reduce cost by 7?

At least they put the chips on the table and called it. You're here after the fact trying to say you where right all along. How classy.
Bonus for calling people out for making early assumptions while trying to sound smart with your doctored early assumptions.
