Ok so this poem has been inspiration for the naming of a lot of things in gaming. The first I remember was the "bandersnatch" from Resident Evil Code Veronica on the Dreamcast.
I think the Vorpal sword is HS card, right? and obviously the Shuderwok is a reference to the poem also (the name is loosely based on the name of the poem itself) his sound byte is taken directly from the poem.
How many Warcraft/Hs references can you find in the poem (or references used for other media as well)
Bandersnatch? Oh yeah, I loved him in Sherlock and Doctor Strange
ah cool... it was a BOW in Resident Evil as well. The name suited the Monster as well though as it had these long arms like a stretch armstrong that would grab you from right across the screen.
Sorry, that was just a bad joke about Benedict Cumberbatch's name
For what regards the poem, I can't help you with the names, since I usually don't play games in english. But if we talk about the whole book, there are definitely a lot of citations in gaming, and not only. The Vorpal Dagger is an hearthstone card, which is found in KaC's dungeon run if I remember correctly. They also added the Mad Hatter in the last expansion. And maybe even the Bearshark is insipired from the Snark? Or that could be just too much fantasy from myself.
In Shadowverse, Bandersnatch is a 5 mana 4/5. In hearthstone terms, it is a warlock card with rush and you can pay an extra 2 mana to give it deathrattle: recruit a minion that costs 6 or more at the start of your next turn. When it was first revealed I theroycrafted using this to cheat out a certain broken 8 drop that can deal up to 16 damage to face in one turn, which is a big deal when max HP is 20. In practice though, there was another card more efficient than Bandersnatch at cheating out the 8 drop so it never saw much play. The end result was the same: cubelock terrorized the shadowverse ladder before it ever appeared in hearthstone ... if cubelock skipped the cubing your doomguard part and went directly to "hit your opponent for a lot"
Jabberwocky is a card too, but it's meme tier and I don't remember what it does
