This expansion is not boring, just not overpowered. There are quite a few interesting cards to look out for. Unfortunately, it's gonna take a while for the whole power level to come down, one expansion is not enough. Too bad Wild's gonna be in a pretty rough place.
The thing about a CCG is that some expansions are not going to measure up. You can't have power creep in every expansion otherwise you run out of places to go. Not saying I like it, but I think it's a fact of a game like this, but that's cyclical. Still, I think there are some interesting cards in this set... and some full on bellyflops.
tl;dr - since WW is the first expansion of this rotation, it sets the meta for the next two years. printing crazy strong cards now would be a mistake.
Exactly. Hey is anybody up for another Mean streets of gadgetzan? A set that produced cards that were constantly a problem in standard that people complained about it for all of its time in standard and produced one of the most mind numbing metagames we have had in hearthstone (Pirate warrior, jade druid and reno decks = hearthstone version of rock, paper, scissors). I like this set, I think rush and echo are a lot more powerful than people give them credit for and some of the legends have effects which are being underestimated. Although some I admit are not good (blackhowl gunspire).
I would rather have a set in which the power level is turned down a bit than a set full of cards that are going to make you complain about the game for the next two years. Nothing in the set seems degenerate so far and I hope it stays that way.
Im little worried about druid i liked this class but then jades and ui happened and now in my opinion he's getting shitty cards. How the hell cards that benefits your oponent could ever be playable?
Who knows, Purify was laughing stock and in the end it was a staple in a really cool archetype that could be taken to legend ranks.

All right, but in WotOG (heading 2016 set) we got the old gods, meta defining cards but not broken, for 2 years...and i really enjoyed those cards...i'm going to miss them. In my opinion, this expansion is missing something like that...
As opposed to what? Being crazy power lvls so that ppl instead of saying its crap they would cry raging for nerfs. Oh and btw u will still cry for a nerf on some cards like lady in white which isnt that good until those 2 matches in the same day where ur opponent gets the perfect draw of removals and theb bam Lady in white played on curved and just cry as ur opponent slams obsidian statue sleepy dragon etc.
Ppl are only happy when complaining

Hi guys, maybe it's only me, but i find the released cards a little boring.
I really hope the best cards have yet to be revealed because i don't feel the hype and curiosity like in the last year sets :-(
What do you think?

Kaladin's RoS Set Review
Join me at Out of Cards!
Personally i find most of the cards at least interesting.
The 3 warlock cards released today are not boring, but spark a different style of warlock which can be supported in future sets.
Odd and even is a neat idea, but might not take off.
Echo is cool and rush seems to be getting alot of support.
I love the priest legionaries, specially the chameleon.
Plus we do have ALOT of cards left to see. I say wait a little longer, before thinking the expansion is boring
I think people should stop making threads like this (that end up being closed by some mod after some minutes) and learn to use the search function. :P
