So a little background, I'm not-F2P not-Whale player that started August 2017 (I spend ~20$ worth every month). I like to collect cards and the golden animations of cards.
I almost don't dust anything but extra (Mass DE button). However given that we cannot have more of 2 of each card in a deck and that having both 2 regular and 2 golden copy of a card is useless since I'll always play the golden copy anyway, should I DE regular copy of a card if I own a golden copy?
The goal is to keep 2 of each cards, and golden if possible. Is that a good idea or will I regret doing so?
The only thing you may regret of DE those cards is if someday they put them in Hall of Fame or they nerf them, then you could have won more profit DE those cards. Other way i would do so.
That's true about nerfs however I believe that usually they only give full dust of 2 copy (max amount that you can put in deck) when they HoF'd cards. So by keeping 2 of each (golden) I should be good against HoF.
I do exactly the opposite. Golden cards are just window dressing for me so I DE my golden copies for that sweet, sweet dust and keep my regulars. If you are going for full golden then yes, I would DE your regular versions when you get 2 copies of the goldens.
I will say it really depends on whether you want to collect cards or have a golden collection. If you want to collect cards you will be able to do so faster by DEing your golden copies as you get much more dust for crafting missing cards. If you are going for a golden collection Dust the regular will give you a little amount towards crafting something golden (low drop high cost cards).
Personally I am a collector of cards, I dust all golden cards if I have regular copies so that I can craft cards I am missing, especially rare and legendaries from wild sets.
