Is it still worth it for me to grind gold for the wings as a f2p? I want to use tempo rogue, but i'm not sure if swashburgular is essential. Same thing with babbling book for mage and malestorm for shaman. Cubelock and highlander priest is too expensive and i'm stuck playing jade druid which is getting stale. What do you think I should do?

You get for sure 5 legendarys for the same gold than 35 packs.
As a f2p? Not worth it as most f2p players dont play wild. As for replacing Swashburgler, it depends on what you use it for, there isnt another 1 mana 1/1 that gived you a card from the opponents class. If you value the card more for the cards it gives Hallucination is a good replacement and will still give you a card to play first in combo's. If you prefer a body on board but no free cards almost any 1 mana card will do. Rouge has some cheaper options than Mage and Shaman just inst as powerful in the meta. If you have Keleseth Tempo rouge is a good choice. You might also try Agro Paladin as its a strong deck in the meta and reasonably cheap.
Definitely get (at least) the first wing. Unlocking the first wing will allow you to continue unlocking the rest of the wings, even after the set rotates. If you don't have the first wing, you will NOT be able to purchase the adventure at all.
Definitely get the first wing, and if you're still feeling apprehensive about unlocking the rest, don't worry about it. You spent 700 gold on several good cards. (Maelstrom Portal and Priest of the Feast are the most notable in wing 1. In addition, since you'll probably never play Moroes, you also have easy access to 400 dust, if you're the type to dust junk legends.
And, if you ever do decide to play wild, you'll have the opportunity to unlock the rest of the adventure. There are plenty of cards scattered throughout the expansion that will continue to be used in future decks.
What I'm really trying to say is: spend the 700 gold for wing 1, so you don't shoehorn yourself into never unlocking the other cards. First wing is worth it, and if you ever see yourself playing wild, the rest of the expansion has lots to offer.

It’s rotating out in a few months.. not worth it, unless you’re going to play wild
Seems ok.
no it is not.
Dead but dreaming
Never was.
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
