Fair enough. I assumed it was just one of those random events. But it's worth asking.
Agreed about the secret eaters - I've been considering running a couple since ther's so many secrets in wild currently to deal with. I'd be surprised if Blizzard didn't introduce some good secret tech in the next expansion to deal with the stuff we are losing.
well in standard secret tempo is a tier 2 deck and big spells archetype is tier 3 so it looks like they look for refugee in wild, mb i should myself cos playing against paladin/warlock/priest cancer in standard is a torture
I thought I'd play a bit of Wild for a bit today.
In the 12 or so matches I played, I faced 11 Mages and 1 Paladin.
Doesn't anybody play anything else in there any more? Lol! It was so weird!
So many secrets....
In Wild you can always tech Eaters, in Standard they'll be gone too in April ;)
That's honestly a fluke. Mage is the fourth most popular class in wild, trailing behind priest, Warlock, and paladin

In Wild, there's a lot of Aggro Mages right now. As well as Aggro Paladins, Aggro Druids, Aggro Shamans, Zoolocks...
There will be a day where Mages in Wild will be able to make a deck which literally consists of 30 spells which deal damage to the face.
