I have decided that I am going start taking this game casually. This game, though fun, has given me a negative impact. When I was playing hardcore, I just couldn't concentrate on other things. Things that should matter more --- work, family, and friends. I will be checking hearthstone stats every day and engage in somewhat meaningless deck building conversations with my hearthstone friends.
I have always tried to quit this game, but it is so intriguing, like gambling, wanting to win after you lose and wanting to win after you win. I will be here every day to post a log. My goal is that I play 3 or fewer games a day (20 minutes). I am no way stating this game is bad, but I am certainly taking it casually for my own benefits. Please witness me achieving this goal!
Another successful day! I had a lot of work today, and maybe that was one of the reasons to why I held my temptations today. Anyways, I only played two tavern brawl games and did it only for the quest.
I log in each day, but sometimes I don't even bother to play: I just check my quest, reroll as desired, and leave. When my quests fill up, I take the time to clear 'em. That might be a strategy worth considering, if you're having trouble: rather than playing every day, get yourself to where you're playing every three days but in larger "doses". You still get your fix, but for each day of Hearthstone you have two days that are basically free of it.

Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
or maybe get a more addicting game you know? kill fire with fire
I recommend Hollow Knight and Cuphead: they're very fun, (quite) challenging, and have great atmosphere about them. I love Metroidvanias so HK was a no-brainer, but Cuphead is just so full of charm and its 30s cartoon aesthetic is something I never seen in a video-game before.
Head to the almighty Steam and check 'em out :)

Day 3 log: Thanks for all the tips! Unfortunately, I didn't keep my promises and played 2 rounds of arena and a few games experimenting tempo rogue... I will try to play hearthstone only for the quests.

Day 1 make up log:
Played only 1 game today to complete my quest, still feeling good and not too tempted to play HS. Great Start!
I know the feels man, stay strong!
Thanks bro!

Day 4 log: Ay! Actually didn't play hearthstone at all today. Feelsgoodman.
