So since yesterday evening I'm happening to only encounter those secret alexstraza Freezemage combos. Like first 4 times in a row then one hunter and 3 Freezemage again. Is it just coincidence or did they become super popular all of a sudden?
Viscious syndicate data report came yesterday saying that Freeze mage is one of the most powerful decks in the game atm, the decks they said that were more powerful were all Paladin decks, my wild guess is that after the last year of Paladin in the darkness people are mostly reluctant to craft paladins cards, opposedly, freeze mage uses a lot of classic cards that most people should've have by now anyways and the only extra addition is Primordial Glyph which tbh is a card that can fit any mage deck from here onwards, so Freeze Mage is a safer investment than Paladin in people's eyes.
What do you suggest as counter? Which counter suits the meta best?
If you can fit in into your deck, Dirty Rat does work for me against Quest Rogue, Warrior, and Freeze/Exodia Mage. I play with Rogue and can usually bounce it a couple times after Doomsayer gets played in order to draw out any key cards they might be holding onto.
I currently added Leeroy Jenkins instead of Nesting Roc in Hunter to somewhat counter them. At least i have some more burst potential after they Alexstrasza themselve. Works well so far.

Am I the only one who thinks ice block should have gone to the hall of fame?
